Bitter quarrel on the sets of Pratigya


Piyush aka Aman loses his temper on the set of Pratigya...

Arguments and tiff on the sets of a daily soap is a usual scene, but what if the argument becomes aggressive and out of order. A similar situation was confronted on the sets of Star Plus' Pratigya, when Piyush Sahdev aka Aman outburst taking up an issue.

According to our source "Piyush recently had a serious argument with the Director on the show, Mr. Rana regarding a scene that was supposed to be enacted by him. The argument went on to become a terrible verbal fight which finally led Piyush to walk out of the sets, wherein a senior actor had to step in to calm down the situation. The senior actor had to advice Piyush to control his temper, especially on the sets and later on the shoot resumed once the tense situation was under control"

However, when probed Piyush, he denied of any such encounter on the sets.

We think Piyush had taken the tagline 'Man Ki Awaz' and his on screen character as the advocate a bit too seriously !!!

Sunayana to play Arushi's 'Woh' in Pratigya..


Sunayana Fozdar enters Pratigya as Aman's girl friend..


Aman Mathur aka Piyush Sahdev is all set to tie the knot with Arushi Saxena in Star Plus' Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya. However, Aman will come under the scanner as his past life gets opened up before Pratigya (Pooja Gor). Revelations from his past will leave Arushi shattered which will put a question mark over the marriage. Apparently, Aman has a girlfriend essayed by Sunayana Fozdar who was last seen in Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat and Rehna Hai Teri Palkon ki Chaaon Mein. Pratigya will spot Aman and the girl together, and this will raise doubts in her mind.

Informs our source, "Aman has been hiding this past from the Saxenas. He has a girlfriend and nobody knows about it. But Pratigya will come to know of this, and Aman will be exposed in front of everyone. This will be the next highpoint in the show. Aman's girl friend will be played by Sunaina. Her entry might lead to Aman's exit from Arushi's life thereby shattering the girl forever".

Sunayana Fozdar was unavailable for comment.

Ankit Gera and Monika upset over money hike?


The buzz is that Ankit Gera and Monika of Star Plus' Pratigya are upset with the production house for not granting them a decent hike in their pay..


It seems to be tension time yet again on the sets of Star Plus' Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, as few of the actors are unhappy with the budget rise they have got!!

We hear that Ankit Gera who plays the role of Adarsh and Monika Singh who plays Pratigya's mom in the show are a bit upset as they have managed to get only a 10% rise when compared to their initial budget.

Our source tells us, "Ankit and Monika have completed their one year contract for the show, and as per the procedure, the production house was to give them a decent increase in their salary. However, the actors are unhappy with the rise they have got, and are in talks with the production house for a better hike. The situation is dicey as of now, and both Monika and Ankit might decide to leave the show if they are not given a satisfactory increment".

When contacted, Ankit Gera told us, "I cannot comment on anything now; let's sort things out first".

However, Monika refused the buzz, and said, "It's not true. Nothing as such has happened".

We tried calling Producer Pearl Grey but she remained unavailable.

We too hope that's things fall in place the the Pratigya family remains united!!

Sunayana backs out; Deeya Chopra to enter Pratigya.


Deeya Chopra will now play the new girl in Aman's life in Star Plus' Pratigya..


Deeya Chopra who was last seen playing the role of Byjayanti in Imagine's Kashi is now back in a new avtar in Star Plus and Spellbound Productions' Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya.

She will go on to play the other woman in Aarushi and Aman's (Piyush Sahdev) life. Apparently, Sunayana Fozdar was earlier finalized to play this role. However, the actress backed out as the budget did not appeal to her.

Our source says, "Actually Deeya Chopra was the first choice to play this role. However, Deeya did not take the role earlier as she was not fine with the budget. Then Sunayana came into the picture, but could not take up the role eventually, after which the makers decided to go back to Deeya with a revised budget".

As of now, an intrigue element has been created over this lady's presence in Aman's life using the body doubles. Deeya's entry will be aired in tonight's episode. She plays a bold, mature, traditional and simple girl and her character has been etched very nicely, and will provide for some major drama element in the future.

When contacted, Deeya confirmed her presence in Pratigya saying, "Yes, I am doing Pratigya. I have never played such a role before. This girl is not just the simple 'Woh' who comes into the life of a couple".

Deeya is presently seen in Sahara One's Kesariya Balam Aawo Humare Des wherein she plays the character of Urvashi. If sources are to be believed, she plays a negative role there.

Arhaan Behll limps thro' his shoot..


Arhaan Behll, the protagonist of Pratigya has hurt his foot and is finding it tough to shoot..


Success on small screen is not something that you get on the platter. The hectic schedules usually do not leave the actor with much time to take care of his/her personal life!! It usually happens that actors do not get time to recoup after illness, and this is exactly what has happened to Arhaan Behll of Star Plus' Pratigya fame.

We hear that Arhaan had hurt his foot while shooting a couple of days back. But the shooting schedules did not give him time to meet the doctor. A source on the set quipped that leads are constantly shooting as they are required in virtually every other scene.

When contacted about the same, a grimacing Arhaan said, "Krishna in Pratigya has to run in the shot and it is really painful. I also have to keep smiling which is quite tough given the fact that I am limping around".

He has requested the production house to give him a break for few hours, so that he can visit the doctor.

However it appears that Arhaan takes all these difficulties in his stride. "This is part and parcel of the TV industry and you have to take the rough with the smooth", said he.

Way to go, Arhaan!!
