ARHAAN BEHL Shreyas Chi Mandli Arhaan Behl (born on Aug 6, 1984 in Rajasthan) is an actor who is known for his role in STAR Plus' serial Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya. Behl later moved to Noida, Uttar Pradesh, where he did 11th and 12th Standard. He graduated in Commerce from Noida. Later, he joined Kishore Namit Kapoor's acting institute.

BALRAJ Shreyas Chi Mandli Balraj (born Jan 26, 1983 in Jalandgar) is an Indian comedian. He has been a participant in Laughter ke Phatkey & Laughter Challenge 4 on Star One. He has been part of the content team of Hans Baliye and has done couple of Punjabi films. He has been working on comic shows abroad and in India. He has been a VJ of Desi Talk on MH `1. He likes to watch matches and doesnt like traveling.

ROSHNI CHOPRA Shreyas Chi Mandli Roshni Chopra (born Nov 2, 1984) is an Indian actress, television presenter and the winner of NDTV Imagine's reality show, Dil Jeetegi Desi Girl. She is known for playing the role of Pia, the younger sister of protagonist Bani in Kasamh Se.

Though it is a comedy show per se, Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla has a unique concept. An excited Shekhar Suman says: “There will be a group of four contestants in each team which will have a judge as a mentor. They will prepare skits or a short play in each episode which will be judged.”
“I agreed to be part of the show as, for one, I have had a long association with STAR. Secondly, the format is different from other comedy shows we have seen in the past. This new venture is interesting and challenging. One can perform comedy in a variety of situations and give it diverse flavours. There are basically three genres of reality shows on television –dancing, singing and comedy.”


He has had some association or the other with the rest of the judges and Shekhar is looking forward to further interaction. “It will be tough for all four participants to work in tandem. As judges, we will get an opportunity to mentor and guide them. If we feel the need, we can jump in the arena and perform once in a while too, which has never been done and should be fun. We have shot the first episode and it was great fun.”


The 20 contestants will be a mix of television actors and stand-up comedians including Supriya Pilgaonkar, Rashmi Desai, Aashka Goradia, Sudesh Lahiri, Raju Shrivastav, Kapil Sharma, Salini Daini, Rehman, Sunil Grover and Kuldeep. Moreover, each team will also have one new face which will add fresh talent to the group.

Kuldeep opts out of Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla; Shailesh Lodha steps in..


Kuldeep Debey who was part of Shekhar Suman's team opted out of the show after shooting two episodes; Shailesh Lodha aka Taarak Mehta takes his place in Star Plus' reality show..


Kuldeep Dubey who came into the limelight with The Great Indian Laughter Challenge was supposed to be part of the team - Shekhar Ke Movers in Star Plus and Reliance Big Productions' big ticket reality show, Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla that is to launch on March 19th.

However, as per the latest news Kuldeep has quit the show even before it is launched!!

Our source states, "The unit had already shot the first two episodes when Kuldeep all of a sudden decided to opt out of the show. This in fact put the production house in a tough situation, as they had to not only get a suitable replacement for Kuldeep, but also had to re-shoot the performances of the team for the first two episodes".

We hear that the saviour at this juncture happened to be the very talented Shailesh Lodha, who essays the role of Taarak Mehta in SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Oooltah Chashmah.

"With Kuldeep citing erratic shooting schedule as the reason for him to move out, Shailesh Lodha stepped up to the occasion and saved the face of one and all. The unit, happy with the replacement they have got for Kuldeep went thro' the re-shoot of the entire performances", adds our source.

When contacted, Shailesh Lodha told us, "I really do not know what happened before I got in. All I can say is that I was approached to be part of the show, and I accepted it. I am part of Shekhar Suman's team now".

For the uninitiated, Shekhar Ke Movers has Rashmi Desai, Sunil Grover, Rehman and Shailesh Lodha in their team while Raveena Ke Mohre has Aashka Goradia, Sudesh Lahiri, Parul Yadav, Vibha in it. Shreyas Chi Mandli team will comprise of Roshni Chopra, Raju Srivastav, Arhaan Behll, Balraj while Arshad Ke Punters have Supriya Pilgaonkar, Sahil Khattar, Nikhil and Ishtiyak.
