Default TOP 10 Bollywood chartbusters! of the week

Welcome to another take of as we take a snip at the old tracks and showcase the hottest new songs in B-Town this week!

10. Tumhare Liye

Film: Trump Card
Singers: Alka Yagnik, Kunal Ganjawala
Music: Lalit Sen
Whilst Lalit Sen's effort as a composer in this album equates to nothing more than mediocre, the big surprise lies in the 90's style slow ballad which is sung beautifully by talented singers Alka and Kunal. 'Tumhare Liye' is the shining star of Trump Card and definitely worth a listen.

9. Shaam Ki

Film: Chase
Singers: Shaan, Shreya Ghoshal
Music: Vijay Verma, Udhbhav Ojha
We love all of Shaan's infrequent visits to our charts and Shaam Ki forms no exception! Another one reminiscent of the 90's style, a romantic duet inspired by Jatin-Lalit and Anu Malik, and crooned by Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal - this is what you wana call
'oh, sweet!'

8. I Hate Luv Storys

Film: I Hate Luv Storys
Singers: Vishal Dadlani
Music: Vishal-Shekhar
Definitely a song that clicks with the masses! The title track of this much-awaited movie is a cute and catchy hum along that is likely to make a rapid climb up the charts.

7. Behene De

Film: Raavan
Singers: Vijay Prakash, Mustafa Kutoane, Keerthi Sagathia
Music: A R Rahman
This one clearly carries the AR Rehman stamp! Whilst situational (and no doubt impressive on screen) Behene De is a combination of the maestro's music and some excellent voices.

6. Oh Girl You're Mine

Film: Housefull
Singers: Loy Mendonca, Tarun Sagar, Alyssa Mendonca
Music: Shankar-Ehsan-Loy
Despite being knocked back a couple of spaces, Oh Girl you're Mine, the seemingly immortal track on BollyCurry charts from the past so many weeks, continues to remain a favourite. We love the music, we love the lyrics, and we love the wispy vocals!

5. Chaska

Film: Badmaash Company
Singers: Krishna

Music: Pritam
Chaska definitely tops this album! Krishna does a good job lending his vocals though Pritam's work falls short of his Dan Te Nan composition for 2009's Kaminey.

4. Khili Re

Film: Raavan
Singers: Reena Bhardwaj
Music: A.R. Rehman
Generally this album has garnered a set of mixed reviews. While for some the music of Raavan was a letdown, for others it has become an unorthodox favourite. For us, Khili Re is worth a listen. Almost devotional and definitely soothing.

3. Aapka Kya Hoga - Dhanno

Film: Housefull
Singer: Mika Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan, Sajid Khan, Arun Ingle

Music: Shankar, Ehsaan & Loy
Mika has always done a good job with bindaas numbers and Aapka Kya Hoga is no different as an upbeat remake of the great Bachchan oldie.

2. Bheegi Si Bhaagi Si

Film: Raajneeti

Singers: Mohit Chauhan, Antara Mitra
Music: Pritam
This little gem has quickly climbed up the charts! As melodious as it is foot-tapping and beautifully crooned by Chauhan. Unexpectedly romantic in an album which belongs to a world of dirty politics et al ..

1. Mora Piya

Film: Raajneeti
Singers: Aadesh Shrivastav
Music: Aadesh Shrivastav
Semi-classical songs are a rarity in Bollywood these days, and yet Shrivastav does a commendable job with this soothing track. Avid listeners may also be interested in the 'Twilight Mix' and the 'Trance Mix'.

Anything we're missing?
Let us know your favourite songs this week and you may just find it in the next week's charts!
