They were the 'will they, won't they' couple of the last ever series of Big Brother, who delighted everyone when they finally revealed when it ended that they were romantically involved.

And despite giving numerous magazine and newspaper interviews since leaving the house, Big Brother 2010 winner Josie Gibson and her Aussie beau John James Parton finally made their first public appearance last night. Clutching hands in the back of a black cab, the couple, whose relationship made headlines from the first day of the show, joined contestants from the last series - and the celebrities who took part in Ultimate Big Brother - to mark the end of a reality show era.
On Friday night, after ten years of entertaining, controversial and headline-grabbing shows, Big Brother finally left our screens for the very last time.

But the contestants were certainly not going to the show go out without giving it one more proper and final goodbye - and have a proper knees-up in the process. The bash took place at the Grace Bar in central London and the guests - who ate mini burgers, mini hot dogs and mini spring rolls washed down with champagne and vodka - were mostly made up of contestants and celebrities from the this year's show. And Josie and John James, both 25, couldn't contain their happiness as they joined Ultimate Big Brother winner Brian Dowling, 32, who first appeared on - and won - Big Brother's second series in 2001, at the housemate-studded party.

Dressed in a long red pleated dress, Josie happily posed alone for the cameras outside the party, looking like she was still revelling in her £100,000 win. Josie and John James got together inside the house, but kept their relationship fairly platonic for most of the series, despite the constant speculation that there was more to their friendship than they were letting on.


And it was only when Josie decided to flee the Ultimate Big Brother house straight into the arms of John James, their love affair became all too apparent.

They were joined by Dowling and Ultimate Big Brother runner-up Nikki Grahame, who looked chic and demure in a short floaty cream chiffon dress. Also attending was Racheal White, the 23 year old Beyonce lookalike, who posed happily for the cameras with UBB contestant Coolio.

The rapper, 47, who appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in 2009 and came third before re-entering the house this year, appeared to make a beeline for the pretty hair stylist.

Other guests included contestants Shabby, the 24-year-old lesbian squatter, who puffed on a huge cigar as she posed with 24-year-old medical student Sunshine.

Katie Price-lookalike Corin Forshaw, 29, was also there and showed off for flashbulbs as she jumped around outside in excitement.

Jo Butler, 41, who arrived in the house late, was also among the partgoers, as well as hopefuls Megan and Joel, who didn't even make it inside the house, and were not doubt hoping someone inside might recognise them. Among the more familiar faces - mainly the celebrity housemates - were racing pundit John McCririck, Nasty Nick Bateman and his new partner-in-crime Victor Ebuwa.

Pop star Preston, 28, also accepted his invitation, but noticably absent from the party was his ex-wife Chantelle Houghton, 27, who came third after Nikki and according to sources, was still feeling 'fragile' after the series.
Also missing from the guest list was Ulrika Johnson, Makosi Musambasi, Michelle Bass and Nadia Almada, who reportedly tried to commit suicide after leaving the house to a chorus of boos.
Big Brother came to an emotional end after 10 years last Friday night, with Brian Dowling being crowned the ultimate winner.
