Television is all about iconic love stories and it is the on-screen chemistry of these couples that leads to garner a lot of fan following overall.

However, a quintessential love story is incomplete without an equally iconic proposal, isn't it? While real life stories have their own share of drama attached to them, it is the popular on-screen love stories that make it to the list of being 'Epic.' Before becoming epic, it is the proposal that has to be 'Iconic.'

It was a moment of rejoice for all the Kaira fans out there who were waiting for Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) to unite with each other and finally see them in love. And this happened, when Naira, after reading Akshara's (Hina Khan) letter, understood that Kartik is her true partner and decided to propose him. Breaking the stereotype of girls-cannot-propose, it was a romantic proposal and the one to remember.

Mehek's accidental proposal to Shaurya in Zindagi Ki Mehek



From having confused feelings about Shaurya (Karan Vohra) to constantly thinking about him, Mehek (Samiksha Jaiswal) was facing a major dilemma. However, just as her mind was clear about the feelings for Shaurya, her confession had a bump in the form of Shaurya's accident. Shocked and saddened, Mehek turns the happiest to see Shaurya unharmed. However, this staged' accident turns out to be a proposal time for the duo, Mehek proposes to Shaurya, thus leading to an endearing moment.

Abhi's 'Filmy Proposal' to Pragya in Kumkum Bhagya



In a show, where Pragya (Sriti Jha) always struggles to prove her point to Abhi (Shabbir Ahulwalia) amidst plots and schemes by Tanu (Leena Jumani) and Aalia (Shikha Singh), it was a moment of relief when this proposal happened. Abhi, for a change, finally realized that Tanu lied about everything and exposed her in front of a crowd full of people, where he was set to perform in the concert. He regrets doubting Pragya and goes on his knees to propose to Pragya, thus confessing his love to her.

Maya and Arjun's Dramatic Proposals in Beyhadh



You know a show is setting benchmarks when it doesn't just have one, but two iconic proposals to offer. While Maya's (Jennifer Winget) hot-air balloon' proposal was one to remember and scary in its own way... Arjun's proposal was absolutely fantastic. Arjun took his time to realize his love for Maya, and when he did, he proposed Maya in the most dreamy' way possible, In the city of Mauritius, Arjun decided to propose to Maya, where from involving a treasure hunt to having an underwater proposal, it became romantic and a visual spectacle.

Dev's sweet and romantic proposal to Sonakshi in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi



Currently, the hatred' track is becoming a talking point among all the fans and is being appreciated too. But, going down the vault, it was the confession of love between Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes) that made this twisted but epic love story memorable. Not adapting the quintessential way of proposing, Dev took the unconventional way to confess his love for Sonakshi, where at a late night, he took Sonakshi on a drive. He took her to the places, where he had the fondest and saddest memories of his childhood. After driving her to 3-4 places, he finally took her to the place where he grew up and confessed his love to her in the sweetest way which was sealed by a hug.
