Default Star Cast/Stor/PhotosIVideos: ZEE TV's Shobha Somnath Kii

Zee TV's next big budget historical Shobha Somnath Kii gets its launch date...

Zee TV's long running and popular historical show Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani - Jhansi Ki Rani will get to its logical conclusion on June 17th, and the 8Pm slot will be thereby allotted for Indra Media's new and lavish historical, Shobha Somnath Kii.

A little birdie tells us, "Jhansi Ki Rani will end on 17th June, and Shobha Somnath Kii will launch on 20th June".

As reported earlier, the huge budget show has an impressive cast that includes Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Yash Tonk, Amrita Raichand, Avinash Wadhawan, Pankaj Dheer, Siddharth Vasudev, Gajendra Chauhan, Sonika Handa, Sadhika Randhwa and Sashi Sharma.

We tried getting a confirmation on it from Sukesh Motwani, Fiction Head, Zee TV but he remained unavailable.

While we bid adieu to seeing the valor of Jhansi on the small screen, all eyes will be on Shobha Somnath Ki for sure..

Ashnoor Kaur, last seen in Jhansi Ki Rani will portray the central character of Shobhana in Zee TV's Shobha Somnath Ki...

The child prodigy Ashnoor Kaur fondly known as Palak, who won accolades for her beautiful portrayal as Prachi in Zee TV's historical Jhansi Ki Rani is back again on TV.. And this time she portrays the central role of Shobhana in Zee TV and Indra Media's magnum opus historical show, Shobha Somnath Ki.

The little girl plays India's unsung heroine Shobhana who grows up with the motive of protecting her homeland from the Mughal invader Mehmood of Ghazni.

Shobhana played by Ashnoor is the niece of the King of Baruch, Daddachalukya, played by Yash Tonk.

When contacted, Ashnoor's mother confirmed the news and said, "I cannot talk much about the show as it has not yet launched. As of now, I can only tell that Ashnoor has an equally challenging and beautiful role to essay in the show".

Shobha Somnath Ki will launch on June 20th and will occupy the 8 PM slot on Zee TV.

Well, it will be a pleasant sight to see the little Ashnoor back in action!

Default Television industry will see the most expensive set for Zee TV's upcoming show Shobha

Television industry will see the most expensive set for Zee TV's upcoming show Shobha Somnath Ki...

Zee TV is all set to showcase their promising show, Shobha Somnath Ki- Matrubhoomi Ki Prem Deewani, the historical drama about Shobha who faces invasion of emperor Mahmood of Ghazni.

The show is reportedly having the most expensive set that television ever had.

Talking about the vast set, Art Director, Jayant Deshmukh says, "It's a huge set built on eight acres of land which instills Somath Temple, Bharuch, a pond and Pathan. And making this set was very difficult because there is no reference about this place anywhere and when we surf in the net we get only very rare pictures. Building this whole set took us around five months and the cost of the whole set is approximately 12 crores."

Jayant shares an incident with , "We have always made Krishna or Ram temple on television, but making Shiv temple is really difficult. I have experienced it personally while making Somanth temple and I had faced a lot of difficulties while making the temple."

Shobha Somnath Ki seems to be a very promising venture by Zee TV with its huge cast and the extravagant sets.

The show will be on air from 20th June on Zee TV.
