Rekha to debut on Sahara?

Several new shows have been lined up on Sahara One and the latest one is being produced by Harry Baweja. The show is tentatively titled Ganga ki Deej and the makers have roped in Kabir Bedi for the same.


According to a reliable source, “The name of the show as of now is Ganga ki Deej. Kabir Bedi has been finalized to play a Thakur and the makers are planning to rope in actress Rekha opposite him. There is some confusion prevailing however, things are being worked out with her although she will be doing the show in all probability.”

There were talks that Mohit Raina and Leena Jumani have been finalised to play the lead roles. While Mohit completely rubbished this news Leena said, “Yes, I have bee offered the show. But they are taking too much time in confirming this. I am awaiting the final call from the production house."


We sent a message to Mushtaq Sheikh, Creative head for Sahara, for confirmation but he did not revert. The show is tipped to go on air in September.
