The Chaithra Reddy-Sanjeev Karthick starrer continues to stay at the top of the TRP chart for more than 10 weeks in a row. Vanthai Pola switched places with Sundari in the previous week, and remains in the second position.
Vanathai Pola is a story about a close bond shared by the protagonists. This emotional curve kept the audience riveted to the episodes, keeping the series in second place.
The third position is bagged by Sundari, which stars Gabriella Sellus in the title role. The recent transformation in Gabriella's look from village belle Sundari to CEO Sundari has spiced up the drama. Baagyalakshmi and Bharathi Kannamma finished in fourth and fifth place, respectively. Both the serials had almost reached the pinnacle of drama. The storyline of Baakiyalakshmi gets tighter as Gopi struggles to hide the fact that he is married to Baakiya and Radhika, but the truth might be revealed sooner than expected.
Roja, Kannana Kane, and Pandian stores were at sixth, seventh, and eighth positions respectively.The newly launched serial Ethir Neechal has bagged ninth place. Notably, the daily soap was in tenth position last week.
The story of Ethir Neechal involves three co-sisters, Eshwari, Renuka, and Nandhini, who are well educated and have college degrees, while all of their husbands aren’t educated at all. Their husbands don’t like them working. They want their spouses to be housewives, but the co-sisters don’t like that. Will Janani and her co-sisters stand up for themselves against their husbands?-which forms the crux of the story.
Nakshatra Nagesh-Deepak Dinkar starring 'Thamizhum Saraswathiyum' bags the 10th position. Saraswathi decides to get married as she is unable to pass Class XII. Destiny brings her closer to Thamizh, a responsible but uneducated man, who wishes to marry an educated woman.
