Bollywood galore for KBC 4 finale

Kaun Banega Crorepati 4will reach its finale in early December. The whole week from December 6 to 9 will air special episodes featuring Bollywood biggies promoting their shows and films. Legendary actors like Dharmendra and Madhuri Dixit, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and hotties Deepika Padukone and Kangna Ranaut appeared for different episodes for this special week. Madhuri Dixit will promote Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She also answered a few questions on the hot seat, which will be telecast on the 6th. Deepika and Gowarikar promoted their film, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se, which will be telecast on the 7th. Kangna, Anil and Sanjay promoted No Problem and Dharmendra appeared for Yamla Pagla Deewana. Mr Bachchan and Dharamji cherished many precious moments together and Mr Bachchan made him rest in his special chalet before the shoot started.

Megha Gupta to marry Sonakshi Sinha’s ex-boyfriend

Megha Gupta right now is on cloud nine as she is all set to wed the Fame Adlabs owner, Aditya Shroff. New show on Imagine TV

The year 1990 saw a raging social debate in India on the issue of reservation in government jobs. Students protested all over the country while some even took extreme measures to express their anguish. Twenty years on, this ‘Quota System’ continues to be a simmering issue between youngsters who have benefited from this, versus those who have suffered.

Set against this backdrop of reservation in jobs, Imagine introduces a compelling new fiction drama – Armanon ka Balidaan Aarakshan. It is a love story between Sumedha, whose family lost a son to the agitation against reservation legislation for jobs and Aakash, who has benefitted from it to become a District Magistrate. As the bond between the two blossoms, Aakash has to constantly battle the fact that he is a beneficiary of the quota system. Announcing the launch of Armanon ka Balidaan-Aarakshan, Saurabh Tewari, Head of Fiction Programming at Imagine, says, “At Imagine, our aim is to create stories which are relevant. This fiction show is a powerful love story and family drama, which revolves around a very sensitive issue that still prevails in modern India. The subject is tackled with sensitivity and highlights the harsh realities that both sides face in their everyday lives.

Malleshwar back from the dead?
Actor Murli Sharma will return to Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors. Bringing the dead back from their graves is anyway not a new concept on the small screen. Sharma’s character, a Hyderabadi don Malleshwar Ramalingayy became really popular with the viewers in the short span of time and now he is back as his twin brother in the show but as a guest appearance.
