Biography/Wiki

Terence was born on 10 April 1975 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is a very intelligent student during his school days but his parents would not be able to pay for his studies after he is 15. He then started teaching aerobics to women to earn money for his studies. He wanted to become an actor since childhood but later, he decided to take dancing as his career and now became a popular choreographer. He is the first Indian who represented India in Vienna, Austria to receive the danceWEB Europe Scholarship.

Physical Appearance

Terence is a talented guy who is approximately 5’9” tall and weighs 70 kg. His chest is to be around 42 Inches and biceps 14 inches. He has brown eyes and brown hairs.
Family, Caste & Girlfriend

He belongs to a middle-class Catholic family and born to Xavier Lewis and Teresa Lewis. He has seven brothers and sisters and they all are elder to him. His father used to work at Modistone tyres and his mother used to work as a seamstress from home.

Career

He did his schooling at St. Teresa’s High School, Mumbai and St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. During his school days, he used to do theater along with her studies. He did his diploma in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management, Dadar, Mumbai and a degree in Psychology & Sociology from the University of Mumbai. He also did a fitness certification course from Progressive Fitness USA.
He later got training in Jazz, Ballet, and Contemporary dance from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, New York and Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance, New York. After that, he started working as a choreographer and choreographed several Bollywood films like Lagaan (2001), Jhankaar Beats (2003) and Naach (2004). He also appeared in a popular music video Badan Pe Sitare (Remix of an old song by Harry Anand) for DJ Hot Remix Vol.3. He also won the American Choreography Award in 2002 for his choreography for the songs of the film Lagaan along with Ganesh Hegde, Vaibhavi Merchant, Saroj Khan, and Raju Khan. He also choreographed numerous music videos, stage shows, advertisements, national & international dance competitions, Broadway Westend musicals, and feature films.

In 2010, he took part in the popular reality game show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 3.
He judged the various dance reality shows like Nach Baliye Season 5, Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati, Dance India Dance Season 1, 2 & 3, and Chak Dhoom Dhoom.
Facts

• He is the founder of the dance academy Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company.

• He was the fitness instructor of so many famous celebrities like Amisha Patel, Bipasha Basu, Gauri Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Sussanne Roshan, etc.

• According to him, he will never get married.
