DAY 1: In pics: Bangladesh vs India
India beat Bangladesh by 87 runs  India's Virender Sehwag reactsd after he hit a century in the opening cricket World Cup match against Bangladesh in Dhaka on Saturday.  India's batsman Virat Kohli celebrates his century during the opening match of the ICC Cricket World Cup against Bangladesh at the Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Saturday. India's Yusuf Pathan went for an unthinkable catch off Junaid Siddique's bat. He even managed to collect the ball mid-air, but dropped it when he fell to the ground.  Bangladesh's batsman Tamim Iqbal leaves the crease after his dismissal as India's captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar celebrate. He scored 70.  Munaf Patel and Sachin Tendulkar celebrate the dismissal of Bangladesh's Tamim Iqbal in Mirpur on Saturday. Munaf claimed four wickets in the day.

Sangakkara got out eight runs shy of a century.  Canada captain Ashish Bagai scored 22, the second highest individual score in the Canada total which looked more like a phone number with single digit numbers against the batsmen's name.  Canada batsman Rizwan Cheema top scored with 37 against Sri Lanka in Hambantota.  Sri Lanka's Thisara Perera (left) and Upul Tharanga celebrate the team win over Canada. Perera finished with three wicket as Sri Lanka won by 210 runs.  Sri Lanka's bowler Nuwan Kulasekara celebrates the wicket of Tyson Gordon of Canada in Hambantota in Sri Lanka on Sunday. Kulasekara finished with three wickets.
