Imtiaz Ali's 2007 romance Jab We Met broke records and created its own. The film marked the first hit of the then couple Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. However this was short lived as soon after Shahid and Kareena parted ways.
Looking back as we come a decade away from the release of this blockbuster, Jab We Met minted moolah at the box office, struck gold reviews from critics and in return gave us Geet (Kareena Kapoor). From Geet's super bubbly attitude, super chill dialogues, heart-melting failure in love to finding love in Aditya (Shahid Kapoor) her journey was entertaining and relatable for many girls. Geet's super chill personality soon became a rage and many television shows banked on this and started to incorporate Geet's nuances in their respective character.

Anika (Surbhi Chandna) in Ishqbaaaz




Ishqbaaaz's Anika can be termed the perfect Geet material as she has portrayed pretty much all nuances that Geet portrayed in the film. From being somebody who does not take **** from anyone to having an equally emotional side, Anika played Geet to the T.

Teni (Jasmin Bhasin) in Dil Se Dil Tak




Comparing Teni and Geet is completely right because both the characters were bubbly to another level, so much so that it became annoying to the people around them. Both Geet and Teni were reckless, but also level headed at the same time.

Chhanchhan (Sanaya Irani) in Chhanchhan

The character of Chhanchhan was known to be self loving just like Geet who was her most favourite person (remember her iconic dialogue mai apni favourite hun'. And while Geet was also very loving of her family members, Chhanchhan's love for animals was also well known.

Aarohi (Kritika Kamra) in Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2





Aarohi in Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2 had the same exact same story as Geet's in Jab We Met. Aarohi meets Arjun (Karan Kundrra), falls in love, gets married and then comes the betrayal. But Aarohi being the fighter like Geet, comes over the fact that her husband cheated her and goes on to take her revenge.

Noopur (Rati Pandey) in Miley Jab Hum Tum





Noopur was a typical small town village belle who comes to the city with big dreams and also the hope that she will get her sapnon ka rajkumar'. But Geet's story was a little opposite to that of Noopur's as her life partner was settled in the hills in Manali. Fun loving and bubbly, both Noopur and Geet had a spark and a positive vibe about themselves that would attract a person and make you want to befriend them.

So these were the characters that we feel perfectly portrayed the nuances of Geet.
