Dhruv Tripathi

Age: 23 years Profession: Student Dhruv is a good hearted carefree person. He doesn’t take his life seriously or plan for the future. He just lives in the moment and enjoys each moment of life. Dhruv also is in search of true love in his life, which often leads him to newer women and invariably, a lot of trouble - both inside and outside the house. But Dhruv is a very clean hearted person who will go to any extent to help someone in need. Dhruv knows that his father Amarnath doesn’t like him much but he has never paid any heed to his scolding. He feels that he just shouldn’t be compared to his elder brothers as he is a different person. His mother Suman also worries a lot about him and is generally torn apart between her husband and him. Rest everyone in the house likes Dhruv and generally supports him as they all feel that he is a young and a carefree boy who will start understanding his responsibilities with time. The person who is closest to him in the house is Ginni. Ginni is Dhruv’s best friend since childhood and saves him from trouble. Ginni keeps telling Dhruv that he should look for true love and some day he would actually get the true love of his life. Ginni also keeps pushing Dhruv to study hard.

Dimpy Sehgal

Age: 22 years Profession: Works in a Multinational company/bank A flawlessly perfect marriage material, Dimpy is the apple of her mother’s eyes. A soft spoken intelligent girl who understands relations and human behavior like no one else. She is best friends with her sister Ginni and they understand each other like no one else. While Ginni always believe she will get her prince charming and is ready to wait for the sign from destiny. Dimpy believes that her parents will find the most suitable boy for her and she is ready to marry someone of their choice.

Dinanath Tripathi

Age: 50 years Profession: Works in the same office as Avtaar… special designation in the guest relation segment. Self obsessed, pompous, lazy, procrastinating king, full of pride for his sons, lives for the day, hates to plan for future (why should he? After all he has sons who will take care of him later) Due to all the above points, Dinanath is the not the most sought after employee in his firm. His boss wants to chuck him out of the job, but his friend Avtaar keeps supporting him. Due to his impeccable reputation, Avtaar manages to pursuade his boss to retain Dinanath Avtaar lives in the pride that he has two sons who are earning well and doing good in life and he can always depend on them. Dhruv is his only son with whom Dinanath has no hope…. “Nalayak beta paida kiya hai !!! kabhi kabhi to lagta hai hospital mein badal diya gaya thha” is his favourite line to his wife Suman.

Ginni Sehgal

Age: 19 years Profession: Student TYBcom A strong headed girl who does not ever fail in calling a spade a spade. She is a colorful character who lights up the atmosphere. The house that seems lifeless when she is not around turns into a tornado affected land after her arrival. The only people who understand and support her is her father Avtaar and her sister Dimpy. Her father’s support is something she is extremely grateful for and she completely trusts, respects and obeys her father’s orders, no matter what. In the Tripathi clan, Ginni is good to everyone…. She feels Dhairya bhaiya is a quiet, simple and a righteous man… Daksh is the most eligible bachelor, and that is why when Dimpy’s marriage is fixed with him, Ginni is the happiest of all. Amarnath and Suman are also extremely nice to her. They feel that its Ginni only who can get their son Dhruv on the right track. The person closest to her in the entire household is Tripathi’s youngest son Dhruv. Dhruv and Ginni are best friends since childhood. Ginni always saves Dhruv from falling into trouble and normally whenever he makes some mistake, she covers up for him. Ginni knows that though Dhruv is a carefree person, he is also very clean hearted. He will never harm anyone and will always try to do good for people around him. Ginni is a typical Delhi girl ... blunt in her speech, carefree and bindaas but at the same time respects elders.

	Age: 19 years Profession: Final year Bcom student The only daughter of her family, Megha is loved and protected by one and all… she loves to take care of her highly misunderstood brother Dhruv…. She gels along well with Dimpy. Studies in the same class as Ginni, this makes Megha close to her too…. Her entire energy goes in pacifying the ever fighting Dhruv and Ginni.
