Default Aahat on Sony to turn daily..

After CID turning biweekly, Fireworks Productions' thriller show Aahat will now turn daily on Sony Entertainment Television..

TellyBuzz had given readers the news of Fireworks Productions' longest running show on Sony, CID turning biweekly.

And now, Sony Entertainment Television has decided to extend the slot given to Fireworks' popular thriller show Aahat. The latest update on this is that the channel has decided to convert Aahat (which is now a biweekly, airing every Friday and Saturday at 11 PM) into a daily show.

According to our source, "The decision has been taken and Aahat will indeed turn into a daily show sometime in the last week of June. Also, this extension means that one particular story will air for two episodes. With this daily format coming in, the permanent characters seen in the show i.e. Chaitanya Chaudhary, Krystle D'Souza and Vishal Gandhi will not be part of the show anymore. Aahat from now on will purely stick to the horror concept".

We tried calling Chaitanya, Krystle and Vishal Gandhi, but they remained unavailable.

We also tried to get in touch with Mr. B.P. Singh of Fireworks, but he too was unavailable.

We sent a text message to Ajay Bhalwankar, Programming Head, Sony but did not get any revert from him till the time we filed this story.

According to our source, "The shoot for the present series of Aahat featuring the three leads will get over around June 21st. And the show is likely to get changed into a daily around the last week of June. However, the exact date and time slot has not been confirmed yet".

Guess the viewers will be entertained with more of spooky stuff on Sony now…
