Rangasthalam movie review: Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni’s film is a masala entertainer packed with powerful emotions
Check out our movie review of Rangasthalam Rangasthalam is one of the most talked about films of the year. Starring Ram Charan, Samantha Akkineni, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj it is a revenge-cum-political drama set in the 1980s. It has all the trappings of a complete masala entertainer, but what sets it apart is the treatment, which is a great mix of comedy, drama and emotions. The film belongs to Ram Charan, director Sukumar and the cinematographer, Rathnavelu. It is a stunning looking flick and the audience in the hall could not get enough of Ram Charan and Samantha’s chemistry, Devi Sri Prasad’s pulsating music and the raw gritty feel. Verdict Ram Charan will be remembered for his Chitti Babu character for a long time. Rangasthalam has scenes that will stay with you for a long time, especially the bloody fight in the field and the final one between Ram Charan and the main villain. This one is a sure-shot blockbuster. Rating: 3.5 out of 5 |
