Default Jethalal gifts a biscuit of gold for Daya on Women's Day

Jethalal in SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah will give a precious gift for his wife..

8th of March is celebrated as Women's Day, the day which celebrates womanhood. Since the ladies are fond of gold, Jethalaal (Dilip Joshi) has decided to gift his wife Daya (Disha Wakani) a 100 grams Gold biscuit to make her happy in SAB TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

A source says, "Jethalal will plan to gift Daya a piece of gold so that she could feel best on Women's day. To make the scene more authentic, the production house actually decided to shoot the sequence with a real biscuit of gold".

A little birdie further states, "However, the presence of real gold on the set pertrubed every unit member and actor. They were very tense all thro' the shoot as they thought it was their responsibility to safeguard the golden biscuit. The scene they were shooting required Daya to carry that piece of gold and roam from one house to another, asking them whether the biscuit belonged to them or not. She is basically not aware that Jetha has bought it for her and has hidden it in his house so that he gifts it to his wife on the D-day".

We contacted Dilip Joshi who confirms, "Yes, Jethalal will try to give Daya a biscuit of gold but many incidents happen before Daya gets gifted with this. So you have to watch the episode to know what the hurdles are".

Producer Asit Kumar Modi tells us the experience of shooting with a real gold piece, "To shoot this special episode I brought a real gold biscuit to make the scene more genuine. Since this biscuit weighs 100 grams, and as gold prices are very high today we had appointed a special team to take care of it. At the end of it, I got to know that everyone on the set was apparently tense with the gold being present on the sets".

Must say, this has to be a priceless gift fot Daya..
