For several years, Bollywood actors have taken up double roles to make their character more interesting. Our television actors have also done roles where they either do a double role, or come back as a different person.

Swarn Abha and Tasveer (Yahaan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli)

Swarn Abha from Zee TV’s Yahaan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli is another character who went through two roles. The story went that due to forgery, all her father’s property went to Jagmohan making her and her family homeless. Swarn Abha then decides to work and ends up as Jagmohan’s secretary with her name change to Tasveer.

Shiju Kataria as Smriti & Aastha in Behenein

Shiju Kataria, who initially plays Smriti on the show, was well-appreciated for her acting prowess. Some of the scenes, especially the emotional scenes between her and her sisters were well-done. Later she played the role of Aastha and had a different look and attitude, to ensure that her sisters didn’t recognize her.

Vasant is the strong son of Motiba, with the aim of finding water for his village. In his quest he meets Ramjadiya who tells him about one girl ,who has some special power to find water. So to find her, he changes his name and attitude so that he isn’t recognized.

Ratan Rajput as Laali and Thakurain in Agle Janam...

Laali is sweet, loving daughter who cares for her family. Fate, however, has different ideas as she is sold to Thakur Loha Singh so that she can produce a heir for their family. Laali wants her identity back and with Shekhar, the Thakur’s youngest son falls in love with her and helps her in this struggle. With the show taking a four-year leap, Laali is now the Thakurain of the village, a strong woman.

Shivshakti as Bebo and Rano in Sabki Laadli Bebo

One is the heroine and the other is the antagonist of the show. Bebo cares about everyone and loves Amrit. Later on, Rano a lookalike comes into their lives to confuse them.
