Street Dancer 3D Movie Review: Prabhudheva, Varun Dhawan and Nora Fatehi shine in a film salvaged by some kick-ass choreography

Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Street Dancer 3D is all about dance. The biggest highlight is the stunning dance pieces.

Street Dancer 3D has been in the news since the beginning. The fact that Katrina Kaif bowed out of the film made a lot of headlines. The film is a big budget one and has been shot lavishly in London. It stars Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudheva and Nora Fatehi in lead roles. Here is our review of the film...
What is it about
There is a group of Indian and Pakistani street dancers led by Sahej (Varun Dhawan) and Inayat (Shraddha Kapoor) who are at loggerheads with each other. Inayat wants to win the prestigious Ground Zero tournament to make enough money to send them home. Will Sahej, who has found place in a top-notch English team, join hands for the cause? You have to watch and find out...

Jawaani Jaaneman movie review: Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and Alaya F's family comedy is saved by a cracking second half

Jawaani Jaaneman tells the story of Jazz (Saif Ali Khan)'s carefree, philandering, bachelor lifestyle even after the age of 40, which is sent for a toss upon the arrival of his 21-year-od daughter Tia (Alaya F), whom he didn't know existed. How this threatens his independent lifestyle and does it finally make him turn a new chapter in life forms the rest of the plot.

Saif Ali Khan hasn't been enjoying the best of times as a leading man, with his films (excluding Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which anyway stars Ajay Devgn) since the past few years not only biting the bullet at the box-office, but also not enjoying a good response from those who've watched them. On the other hand, the launch of a star kid is met with lot of cynicism these days, making Alaya F's debut all that more difficult. Thankfully, the two have the ever-reliable Tabu for company, who's entry in the second half of Jawaani Jaaneman not only uplifts proceedings, but also works as a signal for the entire film along with her co-actors to perform a 180 degree U-turn.
Read on for our full Jawaani Jaaneman review...
