Default Bollywood luminaries who lost the race (flop of 2008)

BOLLYWOOD LUMINARIES WHO LOST THE RACE

Bollywood luminaries who lost the race:

While we kept on raving about the people who basked in maximum glory but many of us forgot to highlight the ones who were not likely to lose the race. Let's have a look at the same.

Amitabh Bachchan: Despite of being a part of three biggies like BHOOTHNATH, SARKAR RAJ, THE LAST LEAR and giving over the top performance Big B couldn't sustain his 'Raj' in 2008.

Rani Mukherji: She entered 2008 like a fairy with THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC but unfortunately couldn't quite spell her 'magic' over the audience.

Mallika Sherawat: The ever Hot-n-Happening Mallika Sherawat's 3 overtly expected films UGLY AND PAGLI, MAAN GAYE MUGHAL-E-AZAM and a Tamil film DASAVATHARAM came out as duds.

Salman Khan: We all thought that 2008 will be Salman's one rocking year with 4 prestigious projects in hand - HEROES, GOD TUSSI GREAT HO, YUVVRAAJ, HELLO but sadly we witnessed the other side of the fate with each of these films.

Ajay-Kajol: U and ME were quite confident about Ajay's directorial debut (U ME AUR HUM) and pairing of one of the most adored real life couple Ajay-Kajol, but lucklessly it shattered our expectations. Though Ajay had a gala time with the success of GOLMAAL RETURNS.

Preity Zinta: This year Preity's presence was more in the cricket world than in the movies. We did get to see her in 1-2 movies like THE LAST LEAR & HEROES but not that satisfactory like her earlier films. Hope to see more of her (movies) in 2009.

Esha Deol: Her movies (ONE TWO THREE & HIJACK) disappeared without a trace.
