Default OMG The X Factor be taking tips from Love Island?

Should The X Factor be taking tips from Love Island? | Love Island 2018, The X Factor 2018

X Factor should be taking tips from Love Island, according to former contestant Fleur East.
Fleur appeared on the show in 2014, finishing as runner up to winner Ben Haenow.
Speaking about the series ahead of its fifteenth run, Fleur suggested that The X Factor could improve by following Love Island's lead.
She told DigitalSpy: "I think getting the audience more involved.
"I think things like Love Island have done so well because its very interactive, people are doing more than just voting, and it's using apps.
"So maybe there's something like that can be implemented."
Fleur, who left Simon Cowell's Syco label last year, went on to praise the show and insist falling ratings meant nothing.
"It's easy to say, 'Oh, first year X Factor, 15 million people watching the final'. And last year it was 7 million," she told the website. "Of course that's TV as a whole, so it's hard to judge it that way. There's no other show like X Factor, besides The Voice but that's only solo artists and a completely different concept.
"So until there's something else like The X Factor that's going to replace it, I still think there's a place for it. We all still watch it, like in the lead-up to Christmas.
"It's definitely part of British culture now, so I don't really see it going anywhere if I'm honest."
The new series of The X Factor will air on ITV later this year.
Simon Cowell will return to judge alongside three new faces.
Rumoured panellists include Robbie Williams and One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.
