Live-wire, Ranveer Singh, turned 33 today. In just eight years, the energetic star has not only established a huge fan base in the country but also garnered critical acclaim for his powerful performance. Right from his first film, Band Baaja Baaraat, to his recent masterpiece, Padmaavat, the actor has showcased his versatility and proved that he can slip into any character whether it is that of a great Maratha warrior, Bajirao Peshwa, an evil Sultan, Khilji or a Rajadi gun-smuggler, Ram.

Apart from critical acclaim, Ranveer has also tasted commercial success at the box office, in fact, he is the most bankable star from the current generation, considering the number of films and their respective business. Till now he has been a part of nine films (Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, Dil Dhadakne Do, RamLeela and others), which have done a cumulative business of over Rs 900 crore. Well, these numbers are indeed mind-boggling. The figures are way impressive if we compare it to that of his contemporaries, which indeed makes him the youngest box office King of Bollywood. Interestingly, he is the youngest actor to have a Rs 300 crore film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.
