The 8th Indian Telly Awards are here...

The countdown for the most credible television awards has begun. The indiantelevision.com's 8th Telly Awards will take place tomorrow - 18 Dec'08. With an exciting list of nominees, the awards promise to be an event of a lifetime. And, what's more, the top names in the industry will perform on hit songs as two of the best hosts - effervescent Mini Mathur and the inimitable Cyrus Broacha - anchor the show. Adding to the glitz and glamour will be some of the channel heads who will be lending support to their teams.

Hotties Shweta Tiwari, Sara Khan, Parul Chauhan, Shweta Salve will groove with the likes of Ejaz Khan, Angad Hasija, Ronit Roy. Tiny tots Avika Gor and Avinash Mukherjee will also be a part of the talent brigade. If you think this is not enough then we will have some top Bollywood superstars to spice up the evening.

One of the highlights of the evening is expected to be the honouring of Raghav Bahl for his contribution to the Indian television industry. And of course the recognition of Prachi Desai and Rajeev Khandelwal for scaling the television wall and leaping into the world of cinema successfully.

And as the biggest and the best awards roll out tomorrow those not fortunate enough to watch The Tellies live can catch it only on Sony TV on 31st Dec.
