. The mass retrenchment by Jet Airways has shown that one needs to read very carefully the offer letter. Most of the jet employees who were issued termination letters were on probation and were a natural first choice for an industry that is bleeding financially. But can the law help? "Morally it is wrong, but they can file a PIL as they have been sacked without giving any reason, under performance is not the reason.
