Set before and during World War II, 'The English Patient' is about twists in a love story due to fate and misunderstandings. A soldier falls in love with his friend's wife and their love story ends in a tragedy. Can be cast opposite : Hrithik Roshan. Apart from making a fab looking pair, Hrithik will definitely be able to carry the role of an archaeologist wounded by war and love, very well. Ralph Fiennes played the part in the original.
