Review: Dus Ka Dum 2

Salman is back with a bang! The first episode of the second season of Dus Ka Dum saw the Kapoor sisters, Karisma and Kareena, have a whale of a time with host and dost Salman Khan.

Salman was at his jovial best, cracking the sisters up time and again with his wit and humour. From poking fun at Kareena to shaking a leg with Karisma, the audience couldn’t have enough of the three stars together

The sisters looked ravishing and the camaraderie between them was unbelievable. Karisma, who lost out to Kareena in the first round, took the seat of the advisor and provided little sister Bebo with all the much needed gyaan. Salman had the audience in splits when he poked fun at Kareena’s size zero dilemma and spoke of Bebo in her childhood days. The audience was rolling in laughter when he spoke of the incident when Kareena had told him she was his biggest fan and had put his poster in her bathroom but right after she saw Aashiqui she tore it out to put up Rahul Roy’s. Also, his impression of Kareena as a little girl was hilarious.

Questions like ‘Is tattooing your lovers name a good thing?’ and ‘Is living in with your boyfriend acceptable?’ only left Kareena red-faced and Salman was more than happy taking advantage of such moments to put Bebo on the spot. The audience got a chance to have a first look at the fun and friendly personalities of Karisma and Kareena. Seeing the sisters sharing so many lighthearted moments together was a treat to watch.

Kareena went on to win 10 lakhs for the St. Anthony’s Old Age Home and both sisters were very happy with their accomplishment. All in all, the show was thoroughly entertaining with Salman’s funny antics and the undeniable charm he worked on Kareena and Karisma. There wasn’t a moment where you weren’t left smiling or grinning after watching all three of them together in action.
