Jubilee Comedy Circus to see Abhishek Avasthi replacing Jay Soni from next week..


TellyBuzz was the first to report about the contestants of Jubilee Comedy Circus on Sony!! Fans of Jay Soni were extremely delighted to find their favorite actor's name in the contestant list of the show. However, the latest news is that Jay has been replaced from the show..

A source from the show informs, "Jay Soni aka Ishaan of Star Plus' Sasural Genda Phool won't be continuing with Jubilee Comedy Circus from next week. Though he will be present in this week's episodes, he will discontinue from next week".

We too hear that Abhishek Avasthi who was seen with Bharti Singh in the earlier season of Comedy Circus will be joining hands with V.I.P from next week. The whole contract has been worked out between Mr. Avasthi and Jay has been set free from the contract. Though the exact reason has not come out, it is heard that everything was sorted out with mutual consent.

We contacted Abhishek Avasthi and he confirmed the news of being part of show. He will start shooting from next week.

Jay Soni on the other hand refused to comment anything.

Jubilee Comedy Circus which airs on Saturday-Sunday has its first pair of evictees. The news is new entries of the show, Anand Goradia (Na Aana Iss Des Laado) and stand-up comedian Chandan were evicted.

Says a source, “Krushna Abhishek and Rajiv Nigam were the top scorers. VIP-Abhishek Awasthi and Chandan-Anand were the lowest scorers. After Abhishek-VIP got safe, Chandan-Anand got eliminated. VIP also forgot a few lines, for which they re-shot, despite that, the other two got eliminated.”

This episode will air on Saturday, and from this week the show will have elimination every week.

Abhishek-VIP out of Comedy Circus

After Chandan and Anand Garodia’s elimination last week, Abhishek Awasthi and VIP are shown the door in Comedy Circus.


A source says, “The two got the lowest votes this time around and had to bow out of the competition. Meanwhile Krushna Abhishek and Rajeev Nigam were the top scorers once again. We have also finalized Rohit Shetty as the second judge for the show. We approached him since Shekhar Suman was not available due to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Rohit has given his nod too.”
We could not get in touch with Abhishek and VIP.

Sony TV's Jubilee Comedy Circus will see a double elimination this week..


Last week's episode of Sony TV's Jubilee Comedy Circus saw the Teen Ka Tadka Special with no elimination!! It seems that the makers have compensated this by evicting two Jodis this week!!.

A little birdie from the sets informs, "This time the theme was Guru-Chela (Teacher-Student). It was very unfortunate to see the back of two good Jodis in Rehman Khan and Saloni Daini , Jaswant Singh and Pratima Kazmi".

History repeated itself as Rajeev Nigam and Krushna Abhishek won full points yet again. The makers are planning a Wild Card round soon, and if sources are to be believed, the Grand Finale of the show will be held on 22nd March.

We contacted Rehman but he refused to comment on any of the development.

Shweta Tiwari, Rakhi Sawant, Paresh Ganatra and Rahul Mahajan has been roped in to provide the 'Tadka' in the Sony reality show..


This week's Jubilee Comedy Circus on Sony Entertainment Television will provide the viewers with the right mix of 'Tadka' with the contestant Jodis combining with a guest celebrity each for the Teen Ka Tadka Episode..

Also with Rohit Shetty opting out of the show last week, the channel and production house have managed to rope in a new judge to partner Archana Puran Singh till the Finale episode.

Our source states, "Tusshar Kapoor will be the one to take Rohit's place in the show as judge".

Manish Paul and Bharti Singh who were eliminated recently, will be the lucky Jodi to get back to the contest again thro' the Wild Card Round.

Coming back to the Teen Ka Tadka theme our source states, "Each team has been provided with an extra celebrity to perform. The pairings is as follows – Bharti Singh, Manish Paul – Shweta Tiwari, Rajeev Nigam, Krushna Abhishek – Rakhi Sawant, Rajeev Thakur, Parul Chauhan – Paresh Ganatra, Kapil Sharma, Shikha Singh – Rahul Mahajan".

We hear that the Tadkas, Rakhi Sawant, Shweta Tiwari, Paresh Ganatra and Rahul Mahajan performed for the red carpet episode..

We contacted Manish Paul and he confirmed his comeback, "Yes, it's a great feeling to come back, but I cannot talk beyond this".

Well get ready to witness the Tadka Special in the Sony show..
