Samsung Galaxy S20 series update improves autofocus issues on Exynos variants
Samsung launched its latest flagship line of smartphones in February. The Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra were fantastic devices. However, many users across the tech community reported weird auto-focusing issues on the phones. Among the three phones, this was most experienced on the S20 Ultra, a phone people had paid hefty prices for.
Samsung had promised updates to fix the issues. Now, we have the first of these updates for all three phones of the S20 series. The new update bumps the camera app up to version 10.0.01.98. Here the “xx” in the middle will be different based upon which of the three devices you use. Note that the update is as of now available only for the variants of the S20 series that use Samsung’s Exynos processors. However, the Snapdragon 865 variants of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra should also get the update soon. S20 Ultra Camera specifications Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is the brand’s most powerful smartphone yet. It is a huge step-up over the regular Galaxy S20 series. The smartphone comes with updated camera setup and offers improved specifications as well. The Galaxy S20 Ultra is the third device in this lineup and it’s a behemoth. The big highlight is the camera department, which is entirely different from the ones seen on the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+. The main camera is a 108-megapixel sensor that uses a 9-in-1 pixel binning. This supports 4-in-1 pixel binning to produce 12-megapixel shots and supports 10x hybrid zoom and up to 100x Space Zoom. There is also a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a DepthVision sensor.
