The 43-year-old Baywatch star got mobbed by fans and the media as she attempted to make her way through the airport terminal flanked by security and airport officials.

The actress even looked a little frightened by all the attention as she clutched on to an escort and pushed her way through the mob, who were all pushing and shoving to get closer to the star. Pamela is in India to take part in the country's equivalent to Big Brother - Big Boss.

She is set to be next week's celebrity guest on the show and is being paid a reported $350,000 pay check for her appearance.

The scenario became so out of control that she had to turn back inside and move out from a different exit.

In the meantime, a scuffle also broke out between a photographer and a policeman, following which, a few other media persons retaliated as well.

Other travellers ended up facing the brunt of the frenzy as they weren't able to leave the airport unless the actress did.
Pamela will be entering the Bigg Boss 4 house in Lonavala on Tuesday morning.

She will stay with other housemates for three days, and is expected to boost the oomph factor on the show by leaps and bounds.

She has been reportedly paid Rs.2.5 crore for her stint on the show, and she is very "excited".

Our source from Colors, the channel running the show, confirms the news: “Some TV news channels reported that she is put up at the Lagoona Resort in Lonavla. Some say she’s under tight security in a hotel in Mumbai. The truth is that she will only land in the country late on Monday night and head straight for the House,” adds our source, requesting not to be named.


Rumours were rife on Saturday late noon that the Baywatch actor had arrived at Mumbai’s international airport. “She is a guest and we’ll do everything to protect her interests. We were always in talks with her for the show. She agreed for a small stint and we’re more than happy about it,” says the source.

On enquiring, the receptionist at the Lagoona Resort, Lonavla, denied having any foreign guests or anyone from any TV channel staying with them. “All our rooms have been occupied. We don’t have a single foreigner guest with us this weekend,” he added.

When asked, Salman Khan, the host of the show, says with a smile, “Oh really, is she coming in? Then, I don’t think I need to be outside the house. I will have to conduct the show from inside the house.”

Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has been blasted by an Islamic rights group for donating her $25,000 Playboy modelling fee to charity as the money was obtained through "immoral acts". Anderson posed nude for the January 2011 issue of the men's magazine and handed the pay cheque to Waves 4 Water - a charity that distributes filters to people who don't have access to clean drinking water in countries like Indonesia and Haiti.
