4th Elimination ... Gala 4 Eliminations [SPOILER]

YASHRAJ is out of India Idol......

ARPITA and SASHI were in bottom 3.....

In a shocking elimination this week, Yashraj Kapil is voted out of Indian Idol 5.

Our source from the show says, “Yashraj is a mature singer and was consistent in his acts. In fact his co-contestants too were confident he will make it to the finals. Yashraj like Manisha Karmakar who was eliminated last week was Anu’s favourite. Anu always backed his performances and was surprised to see him out.”

Yashraj had won a reality show called Sitaron Ko Choona Hai which aired on Real TV, so he was hoping to reach at least in the top 3 this time on Idol. There was no celebrity guest this week and Hussain is back to host the show. Abhishek Bachchan was supposed to appear in the show to promote his movie Raavan this week but he could not make it due to a date issue.

Now, nine contestants will slug it out in the contest.

The Bollywood actor wants to spring an all new surprise for the audiences of Sony TV, and is making his appearance on music reality show of Indian Idol 5, sharing tidbits about the film ‘Raavan’.

Indirectly helping these promotions even further are the trade informers who have revealed juicy tidbits about Abhishek and Aishwarya’s on-screen chemistry in ‘Raavan’. One of them stated, “Real life couples rarely bring the level of passion that these two superstars have brought to their roles.”
Starring in this multilingual film, apart from Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai, are Kollywood’s most popular actors Vikram, Govinda and Ravi Kishan.

Sony’s Indian Idol 5 with Junior B to be aired next week

Abhishek is leaving no stone unturned in promoting ‘Raavan’. The shooting of the music reality will happen today and the programme is scheduled to be aired by next week.

Junior Bachchan will shoot with contestants of Indian Idol and the judges of the show--Salim Merchant, Anu Malik and Sunidhi Chauhan.
However, this is not the first time that Abhishek will be promoting his film on small screen; earlier the actor had promoted his super hero film ‘Drona’ in 2008 in the most popular TV soap of Colors ‘Balika Vadhu’.

Abhishek Bachchan was live on Radio Mirchi

Junior Bachchan charmed the audiences of Radio Mirchi on Mumbai’s most popular radio show ‘Hi! Mumbai’ yesterday. Also present with him on the show was RJ Jeeturaaj. On the show, Abhishek shared his shooting experiences and talked about his character in Raavan.

He stated, “My character is named ‘Beera Munda’ and the villagers have given me the pet name of ‘Beera’. The varied shades of my character equally fascinate and hypnotize them.” Moreover, he also added that he had great experiences shooting for this film and working with legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam.

Abhishek to watch the finals of FIFA on July 11

Abhishek, who is a huge soccer enthusiast, is very much keen to attend the finale of the match, expressed Big B on his blog. Amitabh posted, “There is keenness for a group that wishes to be there (World Cup) in the midst of it all to feel the punch of entertainment and game.
