After impressing us with his endearing performances in Hindi Medium and Qarib Qarib Singlle, Irrfan Khan is all set to take us on a laughter riot with his funny antics and quirky avatar in Blackमेल. The short teaser of the film showcases Irrfan running in shorts where some people are chasing him on the streets. During the scene, there’s a voiceover of Irrfan Khan, where he is trying to narrate the back-story, which has made him fall in the current situation. The versatile actor is seen bare-chested in a pair of boxer shorts with bra and panty paper bag covering his face. What’s even more hilarious is that he is running about the streets with two eye holes cut into this lingerie paper bag.While the short teaser doesn’t say much about the plot, a middle class married man running in the streets half dressed with a brown paper bag covering his face is definitely intriguing. The film is directed by Abhinay Deo, who has previously helmed films like Force 2, Delhi Belly and Game. Apart from Irrfan, the film also features the ensemble cast of Kirti Kulhari, Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh, Omi Vaidya, Anuja Sathe, Pradhuman Singh Mall and Gajraj Rao. Produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and RDP Motion Pictures’ Abhinay Deo, the trailer of Blackमेल will release on February 22 and the film is set to hit the screens on April 6. On the work front, Irrfan Khan will soon start for Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming gangster drama film, where he’ll portray the character of famous and most wanted underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. The film also stars Deepika Padukone in a lead role and will hit the screens during the Gandhi Jayanti weekend.
