The Ghost of Gaurav---Did he ever Exist?

Seeing how the show has been progressing since Gaurav's elimination, especially Rumpa's hook up with Hitesh, it brings a few questions in my mind....

Was Gaurav ever a part of LPB?


Was Gaurav ever a part of Rumpa's Past?

A few of my observations for our followers to ponder on...

1. The only recall value that Gaurav had after his elimination was thrice by Rumpa..Once the very next day of his elimination where she was asking Priyanka to give justification for her decision.....Second, when she was asked in Gala of 31st October, who she sees as her groom, to which she said she is waiting to go out and meet Gaurav and take things further....and thirdly..very recently when they were *****ing about Priyanka and Rumpa mentioned that she was very happy with Gaurav when Priyanka eliminated him..
2. Once Sudeshrani presented the option of Hitesh in front of Rumpa...Gaurav was not to be heard off at all ( except on his web interviews..hehe )
3. Rumpa on meeting Hitesh, questioned him a lot about Pooja and so did her so called friends.. that he is sure of Rumpa, its not a rebound, he is over Pooja, etc. Not even once did Hitesh ask her about Gaurav, if she was over Gaurav and was sure of Hitesh.
4. Sudeshrani herself never talked about Gaurav, not did Gurpreet or Pooja, even when Rumpa had dicussed with all 3 her concerns regarding their past relationship. Its odd that none of them thought of discussing her past relationship and her feelings for Gaurav. ediscussing with her friends about ' pehla pyaar wapas aane mein kitna time lagta hai', they dint apply the same to her?
5. Oddly enough, even the Rishton ke Paarkhi never ever mentioned Gaurav as relationship between Rumpa and Hitesh progressed. We saw the 2 of them become Ponds Romantic Jodi of the week continuously for 4 weeks, we saw the Parkhi's talk about Hitesh's feelings for Rumpa over Pooja...but never once did Gaurav cross their mind..to ask Rumpa of her feelings for Hitesh over Gaurav??
6. Even her parents were not shown discussing with her about Gaurav.I think any parents would discuss with their daughter if they thought the 1st choice was better and more suitable. Or maybe the channel did not think it interesting enough to show on TV ( though i doubt they would miss showing this spicy element:P)
7. And very recently, just yesterday when Hitesh's relatives came over and talk about always liking Rumpa from the very beginning and even Rumpa mentioned ' beech mein pooja vagera ka ho gaya tha...'' . Here too the relatives dint bring up Gaurav. Everyone was concentrated on stressing how Rumpa was always the 1st choice..not one wondered aloud how Hitesh wasnt Rumpa's 1st choice.

So all this makes me wonder if Gaurav was ever a part of Lux Perfect Bride or was it his Ghost that we saw in the beginning that was suddenly erased from everyones memory?? Everyone has conveniently forgotten him, like he was never there! And that too for a guy who according to a lot was the most eligible among the 5 grooms.

With the entry of the relatives an atmosphere of fun and gaiety was seen in the mahal, Rumpa was introduced to the chauhan family as the laadli bahu, Sudeshrani had many a goodthings to say about Rumpa's mom. Rumpa's moms reaction said it all, she knew she was being ****ered!

Hitesh's dad gave some gyan to Rajbeer's mom and asked her to take a decision like his wife had done (this coming from the guy who complained about being leftout of such an important decision!)

The Chauhan's agenda seems to be to make Rumpa feel (or the viewers) that she is Hitesh's first choice and now Pooja has been turned into a billi akhon waali jise gharwale pasand nahin karte! Hitesh himself says he liked rumpa from day one. One cannot stop wondering why he made no attempts to woo her when she was his first choice.

Rumpa's family looks wellbehaved and more mature.They seem to have no problem regarding Hitesh's temper, Rumpa's brother says he totally understands that he was just reacting to the circumstances and Hitesh says his occupation is such that there is no time for useless arguments and things need to be settled straight forwardly! I never knew lawyers in india settle things this way! Anyways alls well that ends well.Rumpas family seems to be happy with the allaiance and thats what matters in the end
Thankfully the Chauhans already feel Hitesh is Rumpa's prizecatch otherwise wonder what Gaurav will be called on this show!

Before Chauhan's entry, the real life couple from Yeh Rishta Kya kehlata hai, talked to Kunwars and Brides alone. It was merely a talk regarding Rajbeer's father whether he will give his full hearted consent. Celebrites appealed to Rajbeer's father through show to accept Priyanka as their bahu and it resulted in tears from Priyanka. Later on before leaving, they asked Hitesh to help Rumpa have Red Choodiyaas.

After the Chauhan's family, Priyanka's familys entry cames as a surprise as
there were apprehensions that they might not turnup.Hiteshs imitation of priyankas sister once again displays his wicked (naughty to be politically correct) sense of humour.I ts good to see all the family members together but lets see if too many cooks spoil the broth holds true here
