• Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 to go off-air on July 16; shoot to wrap up next week: Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, which which was launched two years ago with pomp and fanfare, has struggled to generate numbers on the TRP charts off late. The makers have tried different twists and turns but the show has not managed to grab eyeballs. Hence, they have now decided to end Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 on July 16. Rajveer Singh and Celesti Bairagey starrer upcoming show is expected to replace the daily soap.
  
• SNS 2 stars Sneha Jain as Gehna and Gautam Vij as Surya Seth and the current track is focusing on the wedding drama. The upcoming story line will witness Shakuni along with Suhani Maa hatching a plan to get Surya married to Shakuni’s elder sister. They will try their best to keep Gehna away from Surya so that the wedding can take place. The will do this in order to separate Gehna and Surya from each other.
• TV show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 is moving to a new time slot, will air at 6 pm: The show, which is a sequel, started in October 2020 and recently completed 500 episodes. Now the show is moving to an earlier time slot, it will be aired at 6 pm. While the previous season of the show was a big hit and its reruns were also aired recently, the second season had to undergo many twists and turns to connect with viewers. Producer Pavan Kumar said, "Our show has run for 500 episodes and I feel it is a good run for any show in these times when it is difficult to keep a viewer interested for a long period of time. With technology and alternative platforms, today a viewer has many options to choose from. When the first season of Saathiya was aired, times were different and even the first season went through many twists and turns."
• Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2's lead actor Harsh Nagar was out of the show and a new actor was roped in. Also Sneha Jain, who played Gehna, transformed into a glam girl on the show. When asked about this, Pavan Kumar said, "In the first season of Saathiya too, Gopi bahu went through a transformation. Nowadays, people are not interested in seeing the same thing everyday and want to see changes in the storylines, so we introduced newer tracks."

The shooting is happening smoothly on Saathiya 2 sets and we are on track. We are shooting as per the guidelines and there is no stress at all. The channel has recently released the promo for the second season and it was received very well by the fans. The promo was dropped days after a video by Yashraj Mukhate’s rap on Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben’s famous dialogue "Rasode Mein Kon Tha?" went viral on the internet. It was only a matter of time that the makers decided to encash upon that and now, here they are.

What seemed like just a conversation so far is now actually happening as thr first teaser of Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 is here. The fans of the show already know that actor Devoleena Bhattacharjee is the one who will flagging things off and will appear in the first couple of episodes.

Gopi is in extreme depression after Ahem's passing, has not smiled or talked in 4 years. Kokila decides to accept Dr. Krishna Raheja's proposal of him marrying Gopi; on the wedding day, Gopi recovers, only to be unwilling forced to marry Dr. Krishna. Jigar and Paridhi have undergone major personality changes and are no longer the caring and family-oriented persons. Paridhi had kicked out Sahir, Sonakshi and their two sons out of Modi Bhavan, and gets Jigar's other son Samar married to Monica, an arrogant fashionista. Meanwhile, Meera hates Vidya as she holds the latter responsible for the former's miscarriage, while the real culprit is Naiyya, Shravan's sister. Gopi vows to reunite the Modis by taking over the family business, and eventually succeeds. It is revealed that Krishna is Mansi's brother, and him, Mansi and Pramila (his mother) have come to take revenge on Gopi. Kokila hires Ahem's look-a-like (Jaggi, illegitimate son of Parag and Urvashi), to rescue Gopi.

I love this show and it is one of the most dearest things to me! This show lets me live and it gives out daily lessons. All of these negative comments about Saath Nibhana Saathiya are just so irrelevant and half of them are saying things about the drama without even knowing the whole plot. It gives out very good values and s****s and teaches so many good things about life. I live in Canada and one of the most modern person you'll meet but is still obsessed with this show. Definitely recommend this show and please do watch. I love Saathiya more than everything and I hope you do too!!

Saath Nibhaana Saathiya revolves around the story of two young girls, Gopi and Rashi who have diverse hopes, dreams and expectations from life. Raised by her despotic Mami, Gopi a naïve orphan girl has always been ill treated by her aunt and cousin. All her life, being deprived of mother’s love, Gopi lives with immense hopes in her heart with only one expectation from life - an affectionate life partner and finding a mother in her Sasuma.

Rashi, in contrast, who always believes in having the best and primarily in her own ways wants to get married in an affluent family. Her desires from life are quite averse to Gopi’s as she wishes to have a husband and mother-in-law, who would always give in to her rule. Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2: Mohammad Nazim to retain his role as Ahem along with Devoleena Bhattacharjee? Saath Nibhana Saathiya is all set to come with a season 2 and here's the latest update regarding the same.



Saath Nibhana Saathiya season 2 has been in the news for a while now, and while it all started with Yashraj Mukhate's rap video on 'Raosde Mein Kon Hain.' While it came at a rather random time, the makers of the show decided to bank on the ongoing popularity and there comes a season 2. Introducing the new season was none other than Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who will be taking on the few introductory episodes.

Meanwhile, Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben has not been approached for the show just yet and in fact, there were also reports about Sidharth Shukla taking the lead role, however, we hear that is not true and he has not been approached. And while the show has been constantly garnering a lot of buzz, there seems to be an update on the role of Ahem, played by Mohammad Nazim as well.

Reports suggest that the actor will be reprising his role in the show and this is an attempt from the makers to ensure that they do everything to make the show grand. The report also stated that a meeting between the makers and Nazim is yet to take place, however, his role is as good as confirmed and the creative team is currently working on the character graphs.

Gopi, An innocent, docile girl who has few expectations and is content with the simple things that family life has to offer. She is very fond of her her Mama and Mami (Jitubhai and Urmila Ben) whom she stays with after she lost her parents at an early age. She has no big dreams, the only regret that she has in life in that she is uneducated. But never cribs about it. Maami treats her very badly, almost treats her like a servant but then Gopi does not say a word. She very happily does what she is asked to as she feels that this is her responsibility towards her home.

Rashi, A flamboyant, urban girl of today, she believes in living life to the fullest. She doesn’t like to take up too many responsibilities, but is capable of going to any lengths to make her dreams come true. She does not believe in any rights and rituals and is very full of herself. She is the apple of her mother’s eyes and she thinks that life is full of fun and game.

Akshay Sethi to leave Saathiya; to get back in Genda Phool. Akshay Sethi has decided to opt out of Star Plus's Saathiya, while his character of Deepak will be seen again in Sasural Genda Phool...




Akshay Sethi who plays the guy opposite Aham's sister in Star Plus' Saath Nibhaana Saathiya has decided to opt out of the show, as his character is not gaining that much priority. However, the actor will soon be back in Sasural Genda Phool, where his track as Radha Bua's son was very much appreciated.

Our source tells us, "Akshay who played negative in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya is no more part of the show. His character did not shape up as promised by the creatives, when he signed the contract".

When contacted, Akshay told us, "Yes, I am quitting Saathiya. When I took up this role, I was told that I was the parallel lead, but later my character turned negative. I have informed the channel and they have agreed to end my track soon. However, my character of Deepak in Sasural Genda Phool will be back soon".

If sources are to be believed, Radha Bua (Sadiya Siddique) will long for her son and get him back to the house. There is a possibility of her back story getting revealed to Deepak in due course of time.

Saathiya breaks all records to take the #1 position..Star Plus' Saathiya Saath Nibhana which is slotted at the 7 PM slot gets to be the #1 serial across all the channels..



Star Plus is now reaping rewards for bravely introducing interesting daily soaps in their early evening band of 7 PM and 7.30 PM. While Ravi Ojha Productions' Sasural Genda Phool climbed up the rating chart few weeks back to reach the #2 slot, Sunrise Production's Saathiya Saath Nibhana which is aired at the 7 PM slot has this week managed to become the Numero Uno show across all channels.

As per today's TVR ratings, Saathiya Saath Nibhana has emerged as the #1 show across all channels with a TVR of 5.3 with Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai taking the second spot with 4.9 TVR. Star Plus' other early evening show, Sasural Genda Phool is also well placed with a TVR of 4.7.

A source from the sets of Saathiya says, "The cast and crew of the show never expected that Saathiya… would reach the number one position because the show was slotted at 7:00 P.M slot which was not at all happening for the channel. The credit goes to the audience for identifying the beauty and simplicity of the concept and sticking to it. Today is a great day for the entire team, as Saathiya has grabbed the number one position with 5.3 rating".

We contacted Vishal Singh (Jigar) the protagonist who said, "We are feeling very proud that today our show had reached the number one position in spite of being at the 7:00 PM slot. All credit goes to the women power on our sets; the writers, directors and audience with special reference made this day happen".

Rashmi Sharma, the Producer of the show says, "The whole team is feeling happy for the recognition that we have got today. Though we were not confident about the show becoming such a big a hit, as the Producer and the Creative Director on the show, I expected the show to do well and today, I can say that all our efforts have been successful". Hope Saathiya Saath Nibhana maintains its ranking! Rashi is stunned to realise that she has lost Kinjal’s engagement ring.
