 Hostel Life in hostels has been depicted at large in many films. Here's chronicling a few...This film by Manish Gupta throws light on the menace of ragging that has led to hundreds of deaths around the country, over the years. Naturally, most sections of the film have portrayed the life of students inside a hostel. The film will release tomorrow.

 3 Idiots The greater length of the movie has been shot inside the college hostel at IIM-Bangalore. Scenes that showed Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and R Madhavan studying for exams, Kareena paying Aamir a mid-night visit and the three boys hiding from their professor, all take place within the four walls of their hostel room.
