Super 30 Box Office Review: From Greek God To Anand Kumar, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Chalaang’ Will Get A Thumbs Up From AudienceBox Office Expectations: Hrithik Roshan returns to the silver screen after more than 2 years. There are bound to be large expectations from his film. But Super 30 is not the film where you look for a great opening and record-breaking lifetime numbers.

So just a double-digit start and good enough word of mouth to make it a profitable enough venture for all producers, distributors and exhibitors is what the trade is expecting from the film. HR’s star power and Anand Kumar’s inspiring tale are of course the strongest factors for the bet here.

Box Office Impact: Anand Kumar’s story of making 30 underprivileged and poor children clearing the IIT-JEE entrance exam is exciting from the word to go. But the film is more than that.

What you saw in the trailer was a trailer for a reason and what you will see now on the silver screen is a film for a reason.

As the first half of the film ends and it’s the interval, you realise that so much has happened already apart from what you came to saw. But there’s something that keeps you hooked and that’s what the victory of film. It has so much more to offer along with what it promised in the trailer.

Anand Kumar as a brilliant mathematician, making it to Cambridge University but failing to cross the financial boundaries, turning a papad-wala, being the star face of “Excellence Coaching Classes” but eventually realising his actual aim and fighting all the odds with utmost passion and dedication of making it true.

It’s the story of Anand Kumar and the performance of Hrithik Roshan for which you should watch the film. The story is one of the best underdog stories ever but the way Hrithik has lived the character of Anand is sheer brilliance.

Trending

A handsome hunk like Hrithik Roshan who is lovingly known as Greek God by his fans has adapted the body language of Anand so well that it’s just unbelievable. His critics and trolls, all must go and watch Super 30 because his performance will seal your lips forever.

Apart from him, Pankaj Tripathi is natural as ever. It’s a treat to watch him on screen always and he mesmerises you with his performance in Super 30 yet again.

Mrunal Thakur looks beautiful and has some really lovely moments. Aditya Srivastava is impressive and his scenes with Pankaj Tripathi are magically entertaining. Others lend good support.

Vikas Bahl has given an able treatment to the film and it will go in his one of the best works.

Although, the morning show didn’t really have enough people watching the film but those who watched really enjoyed it.

Box Office Prospects: After Shahid Kapoor in Kabir Singh, it’s Hrithik Roshan in Super 30 who is going to make the audience crazy. The mass appeal of the film is of course far lesser than Kabir Singh but it has good chances of touching the 100 crores mark.

The film has been released in 3000-3500 screens and got 25-30% average occupancies in morning shows. Going by the initial, and the competition from The Lion King, Judgementall Hai Kya, Arjun Patiala in upcoming weeks, I expect the film to do business somewhere in 95-105 crores range.
