 Shantanu and Khanak Shantanu of Rang Badalti Odhani on STAR One was forced to marry Khanak even though he loved his girlfriend Natasha, after the groom that he had found for Khanak ditched her on the wedding day.  Karan and Abha Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli on Zee TV was well promoted but had a slow start when it was a family drama. However the Karan-Abha love story changed all that. Karan loved Abha and married her to save her from being married off to an elderly man. Karan and Abha faced tough times together with their families refusing to accept the marriage. The audience fell in love with this couple and the show now proudly occupies the 3 rd slot among the most popular shows on Zee TV.
