Default Is Rajbir ‘eligible’ for Perfect Bride?

Like most recent reality shows Star Plus and Miditech’s Perfect Bride too finds itself facing allegations of rigging. Speculation grew stronger when Swati Bajpai, one of the evictees, allegedly told a news channel that the show was scripted and two contestants (Rajbir Singh and Priyanka Sharma) are in a live-in relationship.

Miditech president Niret Alva was quick to dispel these rumours. He says, “As per my knowledge both Priyanka and Rajbeer are not in a live-in relationship. Yes they are models and strugglers and may know each other after coming to Mumbai but I don’t think they are a couple in real life. We have done a lot of research before selecting these contestants”.
While Star Plus and Miditech have shunned these allegations, we’ve managed to uncover how much truth is there to these tales.

A reliable source informs, “What Swati said in her interview bears no truth.

Straight after this report, the show’s makers conducted a research on the backgrounds of these contestants. It’s learnt that Rajbir and Priyanka are not a couple but they only happen to live close by. Rajbir though is said to have a girl friend. However, tomorrow he might come out and say that he parted ways with her before the show. So, one cannot say that he isn’t eligible for the show.”

Go figure if this makes perfect sense!
