According to our source, "The first eliminated contestant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs is Debolina Halder. The decision is based purely on the opinion of judges- Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik and Kailesh Kher. So one cannot blame public opinion this time." Adds our source, "Debolina is an eighth standard student from Kolkata. The other contestants will definitely miss her company."

However this loss of the girls' team is balanced by a victory. So they need not feel all that low. "The champ of the day award was given to Shreysi Bhattachrajee," informs our source.

The show is a one of its kind and encourages kids within the age group of 8 to 13 and offers them a platform to showcase their singing talents. The winner would bag the title of Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs and a singing contract worth Rs. 50 lakhs.

Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs this time is a tad different from its earlier two seasons. This season announces a direct war between the girls and boys. The girls’ camp is headed by songstress Alka Yagnik and boys’ team is headed by singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya. And here we bring you the first eviction from the show. The first evictee will be Kolkata resident Debolina Halder which will leave Alka’s camp short of one girl.


Informs a source, “Kailash Kher, the celebrity guest this weekend, was highly impressed with the talented li’l participants of the show. The eliminations will start airing from this weekend and the first evictee will be a girl from Alka ji’s camp. Debolina Halder will be the first participant to be evicted from the show. The girl couldn’t perform at par with others. Incidentally, Debolina was not well since the past couple of weeks as she was down with Chicken Pox.”


Debolina's eviction will air this weekend on L'il Champs at 9:30 pm.

Sare Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs under scanner for child labour?

After 9 shows has come under the government scanner for employing kids, Zee TV has gone ahead and cast 11 year old Dhairya Sorecha and 5 year old Afsha Musani to host their show Sare Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs. The cute bespectacled Dhairya was last seen on Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain and Afsha is a class one student who’s become a host by chance. Ajay Bhalwankar of Zee TV said, “We’re not going against the regulations and government norms. We’re ensuring the kids don’t miss their school for show shoots.”
