Total lunar eclipse would occur on January 31, 2018, which will be combined with Blue Moon and Supermoon. The total phase of this lunar eclipse will be visible in large parts of the United States, northeastern Europe, Russia, Asia including India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Indian Ocean, the Pacific and Australia. While the Lunar Eclipse would be visible from Asia, most of Europe, Australia, North-East Africa, North-West South America, North America, Atlantic, the Indian Ocean, the Pacific, Arctic and Antarctica.
During a lunar eclipse, rays of red light pass through the Earth’s atmosphere to reach the surface of the moon. According to specialists, the partial lunar eclipse will be visible to those in Washington D.C. It will begin at 5: 51 am and will continue till 7: 15 a when the moon sets. Lunar eclipses can be visible in a clear night sky. 6.The total lunar eclipse will be visible everywhere in India from 5:20 pm.

After 1982, this is the first time there has been a triple line-up like this. A blue moon is the second full moon in a month while the supermoon is when the moon appears slightly bigger and a little brighter than normal. There may be slightly higher tides in rivers and seas due to supermoon, however, nothing alarming. The main eclipse that includes all the three phenomena together would start around 6.25 pm and end bt 7:25 pm.
