5 Best Navratri Events in Mumbai You Must Attend This year






Navratri, which means nine nights, is celebrated across India to honor goddess Durga. Sharadiya Navratri is celebrated in the Hindu month of Sharad and this year it will be between September 21 and September 29. During the nine days of celebration people worship nine different forms of goddess Durga, observe fast and perform Dandiya and Garba. It is one of the most popular festivals of the country and is celebrated with enthusiasm and great fervor. People dress up in their best attire to dance away the night. If you love doing Garba or dandiya, here is a list of events in Mumbai you must attend to enjoy Ganra abd Dandiya nights.
1. Meeras Navratri

The celebrated duo Preeti Pinki will keep make you dance the whole night with their melodious singing. The duo is well-known for Navratri events in India as well as abroad. They have also sung several Bollywood songs. So, get ready to dance the night away with Preeti Pinky.

2. Ruparel Navratri Utsav

Falguni Pathak is synonymus with Navratri celebration. This talented signer is know for her energetic and beautiful singing during th festival. She performs with her band called Ta Thaiyaa. Grove to Falguni Pathak’s songs at Late Shri Pramod Mahajan Sports Complex in Borivali.

When: September 21 to September 30, 7pm onwards

3. Korakendra Navratri

This event has been organized at the same venue for the past 13 years. Over two lakh people attend the event every year and each day there are around 30,000 people performing Garba and Dandiya.
Where: Kora Kendra Ground, RM Bhattad Road, Haridas Nagar, Borivali (West), Mumbai, Maharashtra 400092, India
When: September 21 to September 30, 7:20 pm onwards
Fee: You can buy ticket for Rs 360, 450 and 630, season pass for Rs 3150 and VIP season pass for Rs 6300
4. RangiloRe

RangiloRe Navratri puts spotlight on the culture and tradition of various parts of Gujarat. The singer for the event is none other than Parthiv Gohil, who collaborated with many singers like Shreya Ghosal and Rekha Bharadwaj. The celebration at RangiloRe also includes puppet show, Gujarati food stalls and folk dance.

Fee: You can buy ticket for Rs 300 and 500 and season pass for Rs2500
5. Rajmahal’s Silent Garba

Celebrate Navratri without causing noise pollution by attending Rajmahal’s Silent Garba. Artists from various regions of Gujarat performs at the event to give you a feel of authentic Garba. A group of singers and performers from Gadhvi house with perform for the event.
