Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6th Admit Card 2017-2018

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Education Trust had announced admission form and prospectus for Class 6th entrance test 2017. Navodaya Vidyalaya will conduct a open exam for class 6th admission under academic session 2017-2018. Students and their parents are requested to download admit card now for Rajiv Gandhi / Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV). Candidates who want to download the admit card can download the admit card from the official website or we are providing the direct link to download the admit card in our website.   • On Saturday, the 9th January, 2016 at 11.30 A.M. in the State of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, West Bengal (except Darjeeling) Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla Districts), Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh (except Tawang District), Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep and Pudducherry .
  • On Saturday, the 9th April, 2016 at 11.30 A.M. in the States of Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim ,Jammu and Kashmir (except Leh, Kargil & Doda) and in the District of Tawang of Arunachal Pradesh, in the Districts of Sirmour, Kullu, Mandi of Himachal Pradesh, in the District of Darjeeling of West Bengal.

JNVST Admit Card :- Admit Cards, duly prepared by the Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. Admit Card will be issued to the candidates through the office of the Block Education Officer. Candidates, who do not receive their Admit cards one week before the JNVST Exam, should immediately contact to Principal of nearest Navodaya Vidyalaya, JNV/BEO/DEO for the same.
About JNVST :- The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya selection test (JNVST) is the entrance examination to get admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. This exam is conducted by CBSE. Candidates have to go thorough JNVST in Class-V and 80 meritorious students get admission in Class-VI. JNVST for Class-VI consists of 3 sections, Mental Ability, Arithmetic and Regional language s****s. The duration of the exam is two hours. There is no fee for the exam.
JNVST for Class-VI :- There are some criteria need to be satisfied to become eligible for JNVST. The criteria are listed below.
  • The candidate must be studying in Class-V in any recognised school.
  • Must have studied and passed Class:III, IV and V.
  • There must be a JNV for the district in which the students is studying in.
  • The candidate must be of age group 9 to 13 irrespective of the category.
  • The candidates are allowed to sit for JNVST only once in any circumstances.
