- On Saturday, the 9th January, 2016 at 11.30 A.M. in the State of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, West Bengal (except Darjeeling) Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla Districts), Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh (except Tawang District), Union Territories of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Lakshadweep and Pudducherry .

About JNVST :- The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya selection test (JNVST) is the entrance examination to get admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. This exam is conducted by CBSE. Candidates have to go thorough JNVST in Class-V and 80 meritorious students get admission in Class-VI. JNVST for Class-VI consists of 3 sections, Mental Ability, Arithmetic and Regional language s****s. The duration of the exam is two hours. There is no fee for the exam.
JNVST for Class-VI :- There are some criteria need to be satisfied to become eligible for JNVST. The criteria are listed below.
- The candidate must be studying in Class-V in any recognised school.
- Must have studied and passed Class:III, IV and V.
- There must be a JNV for the district in which the students is studying in.
- The candidate must be of age group 9 to 13 irrespective of the category.
- The candidates are allowed to sit for JNVST only once in any circumstances.
