Holi brings with it some new twists in Maryada..


Star Plus' Maryada which will shift to the new slot of 11 PM from Monday will bring about some tense moments in the lives of Uttara, Priya and Vidya...


Star Plus and DJ's Creative Unit's Maryada Lekin Kab Tak?, as we know will be occupying the 11 PM slot from 21st March. With the celebration of colors happening everywhere, the Jakhar household too is brimming with lot many joyous activities.

But the festival of colors, we hear will come with a lot of surprises, that will shake the life of the three women – Uttara (Kamya Punjabi), Priya (Ridhi Dogra) and Vidya (Vindhya Tiwary).

Our source states, "Brahmanand (Vishwajeet Pradhan) will declare in front of the family that Uttara needs to move on in life, and that she has to have the presence of all colors in her life. He literally drags her to enjoy the festival and even drenches Uttara with colored water. However the evil mind of Brahmanand starts to work over time, as he sees the wet Uttara at her seductive best".

"As for Vidya, she decides to stop suspecting her husband Gaurav (Dakssh Ajit Singh) and longs for a family life with him. As Vidya joyously spends time with her husband, she sees a shocking sight which tears her apart. She notices the same girl yet again in their Holi party; the girl and Gaurav are seen playing with colors. The girl actually manages to take Gaurav away from the entire celebration", adds our source.

Our source adds on, "Priya's troubled times have multiplied ever since she has got to know that her own father-in-law happens to be the one who tried to molest her. On the occasion of Holi, there is a possibility of Aditya (RaQesh Vashisth) getting to know the name of the real culprit. He gets a phone call which reveals to him the name of the rapist. And with this, their life is certainly going to change".

Brahma's truth leads to a tussle between Aditya and Brahma in Star Plus' Maryada...

Star Plus' Maryada will now see a huge twist in the tale where Aditya (RaQesh Vashisth) will get to know the sour truth about his father which will leave him heartbroken. Promos are already on air about Aditya getting facts cleared about his father which has left him annoyed.

A source from the sets informs," Soon Aditya will get to know the truth of his father being the most cunning person in deed as during the meeting of the Village Panchayat, it gets disclosed to everyone that it's Brahma who is the main culprit behind the ****** plan of the couple which had happened in the village."

"There would be a major tussle between Aditya and Bramha where Aditya will lose his temper on Brahma and will state that he is not ready to accept Brahma as his father. The truth will come as a shocker to Aditya and will break all relationships with Brahma," adds source.

We contacted Vishwajeet Pradhan aka Brahma and he states, "I can't reveal anything on the same as it's against the ethics of the show. Therefore let the show itself reveal it to the viewers."

We tried contacting RaQesh Vashisth, but all our efforts to reach him were in vain.

All we can say is, it's just a trailer and many more secrets are to unfold before you Aditya!

Maryada leads, Raqesh Vashisht and Ridhi Dogra to wed on 29th May...

Tellybuzz was first to break the news of RaQesh Vashisth and Ridhi Dogra (Fame Star Plus's Maryada) getting married in May. With only a week left for the grand wedding, we chose to get to know more about the preparations.

A little birdie close to Ridhi and Raqesh chirps, "Ridhi and Rakesh are going to tie their knot on 29th of May in Pune (Rakesh's hometown). They both are leaving for Pune tomorrow, and by tonight they will take a small break from shooting for their Star Plus show, Maryada Lekin Kab Tak?. The wedding will take place in Dogri style and not in Maharashtrain style as Ridhi Dogra is a North Indian".

"It was a mutual decision between the two families to hold the wedding at Raqesh's home town and to carry out the rituals in North Indian style".

On the invitees for the wedding, our source states, " Few Co actors from Maryada team, Laagi Tujhse Lagan team have been invited".

The bride to be Ridhi says, "Yes, It's going to be a Punjabi wedding in a Dogri style as I belong to this community. Usually wedding is done according to the girl's style in our religion. But the wedding is going to be grounded and not hyped".
