• Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi is an Indian soap opera which premiered on 5 April 2010 to 14 December 2011 on STAR One. Total 470 Episodes are telecasted.

• The show ended on 14 December 2011 when STAR One was replaced by Life OK.
  

Story:

• Geet is an innocent village girl of the Handa household.
• Her family decides to get her married to Dev Khurana, a rich NRI, much to her dismay.
  
• Dev is actually married and lives away from his family due to some quarrels with his brother.
  
• In order to get money, he marries Geet and abandons her at the airport next day. Hurt, geet returns to her village, finds out about her pregnancy and Dev's truth.
  
• She meets Maan Singh Khurana, Dev's brother and they start bickering all the time. When her family asks her to abort the kid, she refuses. They try to **** her but is saved by Maan. She cuts all ties with her family, moves to Delhi for a job and accidentally takes up Maan's secretary's post.
  
• Geet who is unaware of the fact of Mann being Dev's brother and Mann who is unaware of Dev's marriage with Geet, fall in love with each other. Dev and his wife Nayantara, return and starts living with Mann. Though Geet also ends up being there often, they miss each other.
  
• Mann was furious to know about Geet's pregnancy but later accepts Geet's baby and they decide to get engaged. Dev and Nayantara find out that Maan's secretary is Geet and try to avoid her. Later they split-up and a guilty Dev goes to Geet and opens up her relationship with Mann.
  
• Disheartened Geet breaks the engagement and walks away. Maan learns the truth and gets Dev jailed but later with the help of Geet, bails him out. Geet thinking that Maan used her for bailing Dev, moves away from him but they later reconcile. Nayanthara tries to **** Geet, but falls from the terrace and slips into coma.
  
• Her brother Arjun decides to take revenge and fakes love with Anwesha, Maan's sister and consummates. He later learns Nayantara's evil motives and unites with Anwesha. Geet's brother tries to **** her but she is saved by Maan.
  
• They marry but Maan distances from her as she is expecting. Geet falls down and the child is aborted. Later Maan suspects Geet and Dev's closeness which irks Geet and she leaves.
  
• They later unite. Geet is abducted by her childhood lover but is saved by Maan. Maan is attacked by Parminder, his step mother after which he loses his memory about Geet. He later remembers her and they unite. The show ends with them becoming parents.

Gurmeet Choudhary, the protagonist of Star One's new show Geet Hui Sabse Parayi will have a dramatic entry...


Gurmeet Choudhary the main protagonist of Star One's new show Geet Hui Sabse Parayi will enter in the coming Tuesday's episode.

According to our source, "The present track revolves around the wedding preparations of Geet (Drashti Dhami). There will be a scene wherein Geet and her family members go to a nearby mela. Due to certain unavoidable situations, Geet loses track of her family and is seen wandering alone. This is when a group of guys try to behave badly with her. She runs to save herself, and in the process falls into a lake. And the hero, Gurmeet will make his dramatic entry then and save Geet from drowning".

Elaborating on Gurmeet's character in the show, our source states, "His name is Maan. He is basically an angry young man like character. He is disillusioned from the entire world, very silent and loves to lead a lonely life. He sees Geet in a problem situation, saves her life and leaves her without talking a word. This will be the first encounter between Geet and Maan", informs our source.

When contacted, Gurmeet told us, "Yes, I will be entering the show sometime next week. I play Maan, a guy who is a recluse".

The show has begun really well, and we wish Gurmeet all the very best for his new stint.

Gurmeet Choudhary is all set to throw a surprise birthday bash for Debina in Goa today..


In the current scenario, love is in the air 24/7 and expressing love just on Valentine's Day is fading with time. Basically lovers don't wait for a reason to express themselves, but when they get an opportunity they don't let it go too.

Same is the case with lover boy Gurmeet Choudhary as he plans to not let go of this opportunity to make his lady love, Debina Bonnerjee feel special on her Birthday this year.

Debina celebrates her birthday today, and when TellyBuzz called Gurmeet to know of his plans he confided in us, "I have got Debina to Goa a day prior to her birthday along with some friends basically. We are here to judge the Miss Goa contest; we will also be performing a romantic number for the event. Then we plan to celebrate the night in the beaches of Goa".

When asked about the plans for the D-Day he exclaimed, "Plans always depend upon the place of execution and as we are in Goa, we are surely going to have a wild, adventurous day. Apart from that we have organized a party at the hotel we are residing in, and the arrangements are still in process. Hope all turns out good."

With party and friends, gifts from loved ones add on to the charm of the evening. "I believe women shouldn't be gifted anything because they are very choosy. Instead shop with them and get them things of their choice, and that's what I do. So no such material gift as such", smiled Gurmeet.

Manish Naggdev will soon enter Star One's Geet Hui Sabse Parayi, and will be seen in a hatke role..


Manish Naggdev who is even today popularly known as the simpleton Chinu in Zee TV's Banoo Main Teri Dulhann will be seen in a 'hatke' role in Star One's Geet Hui Sabse Parayi.

The actor has started shooting for the show, and his entry sequence will be aired tonight.

Manish will play the boy friend of the dead Channi (Megha Gupta), and has come to Geet's place to find out the reason behind the mysterious death of Channi.

According to our source, "Manish Naggdev will have a rugged look in the show, that of a typical Punjabi munda. His screen name is Gurvinder, and happens to be the boy friend of Channi. He is a very innocent guy who was madly in love with Channi, and is now desperate to know what exactly lead to her death".

"The entire family of Geet is after Gurvinder's life, and it will be Geet (Drashti Dhami) and her younger sister Rajji (Trishika) who will hide Gurvinder in their house, and take care of him. As the story progresses, Rajii and Gurvinder will have a love track", informs our source.

When contacted, Manish Naggdev confirmed the news and said, "I will be seen in a different look in Geet. I have always played the simple guy till now; but here I will for the first time be seen in checked shirts, jeans and will have a rugged look. I play the boy friend of the girl Channi who was ****ed in the very first episode of the show".

Manish will have a full-fledged role in Geet. On the other hand, Geet will have her set of problems when she will get to know that she is pregnant. She will then decide to avenge Dev (Abhinav Shukla).

Manish was recently seen in Imagine's Rehna Hai Teri Palkon ki Chaaon Mein.

As news of Star One’s Geet going off air float, the lead actors rubbish it…


Recently, there were widespread talks over Star One's new show Geet Hui Sabse Parayi all set to walk through the exit door. However, the lead actors say that there's no truth behind reports that claim that Geet is about to go off air.

Gurmeet Choudhary who plays Maan says, "Yeh bakwaas news hai (Its rubbish). Geet has just started and everyone likes it. I've been getting good feedback from one and all. This show has not just been liked by my old fans but has also earned me a new set of fans."

The actor is happy about the applaud he has been receiving for his new character. "Everyone is appreciating me in this angry young man role. It feels nice that people have accepted with arms wide open," says Gurmeet.

Drashti Dhami aka Geet first laughed out loud at this news and then proceeded to answer after she overcame her fit of giggles. "No no, this is not true," the chirpy actress finally managed to blurt out.

When enquired what we can expect from the forthcoming episodes of Geet, Drashti says, "There's a lot of drama, tension and also there is a slight elevation in the level of chemistry between Geet and Maan."

According to our source, "Star One has been promoting Geet very nicely, and there is no chance of it going off air now. The story line will also see a new highpoint as the focus will move to Delhi, to Maan's house where a big mystery is about to unfold.

Guess, the Geet fans can heave a sigh of relief then…
