Jayam Ravi: "Here's looking at you...!"
It has been a long wait for Jayam Ravi, after 'Dhaam Dhoom', to have a go at the B.O. But, the wait has been worth it. For his 'Peraanmai' became the surprise hit of 2009. The film has been picking up momentum ever since its release and is on its way to becoming a blockbuster. |

Mammootty: His Highness...

'Subrahmanyapuram' Sasikumar has been a whiff of fresh air to Kollywood, plagued by formulaic flicks. In 2009, he played the hero in 'Nadodigal', directed by his friend Samuthirakkani. The film was another welcome departure from mainstream conventions. The low-budget movie grossed Rs 53 crore. |
