24-year old Sreeramchandra is a professional singer who lives with his family in Secunderabad. His father is a High Court advocate while his mother is a housewife.

1.Ananda Ragam Contest:
In the year 2004 November 2nd to 5th. Conducted by the team of Anand (movie),
Stood 1st among 600 people.

2.Relax songs competition:
Was conducted by Mr.Ramanagogula Garu. In the year 2005.
Result: Stood 2nd.

3.Radio competition Voice of Andhra:
Was conducted in the year 2005-06 by Fm radio.
Result: Won the title Voice of Andhra.

4.Sangam Kala Group(Delhi):
Was conducted in the year November 2006, by Hero Honda .
Result: Stud 1st regionally and went to Delhi for nationals.

5.Sye Singer's Challenge:
Conducted in the year 2006-07, by Etv.
Result: Finalist

6. Voice Of India :
Was conducted in the year 2007 (March ) by Star Plus.
Result: Was in the top 18 i.e till the 4th round.

7.Okkare:
Was conducted by Etv in 2008.(June-December)
Result: Won the title "OKKARE"

8.Classical Programs:
Annamaacharya project conducted in the year 2005-06 (Tirupati),also giving classical
concerts given 15 to 20 so far.

Play Back Singing:
Started play back singing at the age of 17, after winning the Anand Raagam Contest.
So far have lent my voice for 18 movies and have sung 35 songs, also have done a
Hindi private Album (titled HUM).

Have sung for 10 devotional albums (Names) and did many jingles.

Sreeramchandra started singing during his school days, but began his professional training in singing in the first year of his college. He is a complete music enthusiast and has performed in various music shows including playback singing for few Telugu movies. He got his first break singing title track for the critically acclaimed 2008 telugu comedy film Ashta Chemma. Sreeram performed the hit track "Tum Mile" to which Music director Pritam commented that Sreeram is ready to start playback singing immediately.

His hobbies include sports such as football & basketball, music such as singing and playing guitar. He auditioned for Indian Idol 5 as he feels he has all the qualities to be India's next big singing sensation. He feels through Indian Idol, he will able to reach as well as showcase his immense talent to the millions of households in the country.Eventually he went on to win the title of Indian Idol 5.[Indian idol 5 winner]
