Gurmeet Sitaram Choudhary is an Indian actor and model. He has also done few music videos. He was the winner of Jhalak Dikhlaja season 5, 2012. He made his bollywood debut with Mahesh Bhatt's film Khamoshiyan alongwith actors Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi. He was seen in the movie Wajah Tum Ho.

Biography

Gurmeet Choudhary was born as Gurmeet Sitaram Choudhary on 22 February, 1984. He has an army background as his father Mr. Sitaram Choudhary, was in the army. Hence, he got to stay in many different parts of India. However, he was born in Chandigarh and was brought up majorly in Jabalpur and Chennai. Most of his education is completed in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He was fond of acting since childhood and has acted in many school plays. He has won Mr. Jabalpur title and also participated in Mr. India contest. At the age of 18, he joined a theatre in Jabalpur and tried really hard for almost 5 years to reach peak.

Gurmeet Choudhary was seen in the film titled Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laddoo Deewana. It was directed by Manish Harishankar and produced by T.P. Aggarwal and Rahul Aggarwal. The film has released on April 7, 2017. It also starred Vivaan Shah, Akshara Haasan and Saurabh Shukla.

Achievements

Gurmeet bagged the title of MR. Jabalpur, he also participated in MR. India contest. He got an award from Anuvibha Sadhna Kendra Jaipur. He got the New Talent award of the Best New Male Actor for his awesome performance as Ram in The Ramayan.
