Known otherwise for his cool temperament,
Hans Baliye judge David Dhavan’s patience and tolerance was tested during the wild card episode. Egged on by Karishma’s declaration that David takes everything in his stride, playful hosts Sunil Grover and Gaurav Gera did their best to annoy the director by putting on their best… err… worst comic act.
They kept at it until David went livid and hollered at the duo for crossing the limits. A tense moment followed on set until David signalled for the shoot to resume. Looks like the anchors achieved the impossible…
Battle of humour
It’s raining contestants in the wild card episode of Hans Baliye. Along with the new entrants — couples Jaspal Bhatti and Savita Bhatti and Kapil and Ginny — ousted couples Ashita-Sailesh, Tanaaz-Bakhtyar and Delnaz-Rajeev also got another chance to prove their mettle. But the presence of stalwarts like Jaspal and Kapil did make the contestants a little nervous. Though they were threatened by the new couples but decided to battle it out. Now that’s true competitive spirit.
