Jaya’s toupee frustration
Television actress Jaya Bhattacharya has always been very careful about what she wears and how she looks in her TV shows. That’s why we are quite surprised to see the ill-fitting wig she has been sporting in Jhansi ki Rani. It not only looks artificial, but is quite awful too. We thought Jaya wasn’t interfering in the makeup department because she’s playing an old woman’s role, unlike her other roles where she’s always dressed in shiny saris and lots of makeup! But no, Jaya is very upset about her wig

Channel V’s new fiction show
Popular youth, music and lifestyle channel, Channel [v] is planning to launch its debut tele-serial which would be completely fictional in nature. The show is called Roomies and has been launched on July 10. Roomies is a fictional show that revolves around the lives of five friends. They all live together, under one roof. The group of friends is Adi, Jessi, Nuts, Zizou and Mimi. The show is aimed primarily at the youth; however, it can also be watched with the family. We are hoping that the makers will get a good response from their loyal audiences
