Omi Vaidya to host Chhote Ustaad

NRI Actor Omi Vaidya, known for playing ‘Silencer’ Chatur Ramalingam in 3 Idiots, has been roped in to host the second season of STAR Plus' children's music reality show Chhote Ustaad. To be judged by singers Sonu Niigaam and Rahet Fateh Ali Khan, the show will bring together raw talent from India and Pakistan. The participants will be in the 8-13 years age group

Channel V’s new fiction show
Popular youth, music and lifestyle channel, Channel [v] is planning to launch its debut tele-serial which would be completely fictional in nature. The show is called Roomies and has been launched on July 10. Roomies is a fictional show that revolves around the lives of five friends. They all live together, under one roof. The group of friends is Adi, Jessi, Nuts, Zizou and Mimi. The show is aimed primarily at the youth; however, it can also be watched with the family. We are hoping that the makers will get a good response from their loyal audiences

Birthday planned for Tia Kaur
Ex-Indian Idol 5 contestant Tia Kaur feels sad for her elimination but at the same she is now planning to play with her two pet dogs and her friends have planned a birthday party to cheer her up. This Mumbai girl was shocked when her name was announced in the elimination
