The makers of Sajan Ghar Jaana Hain have apparently approached Kapil and Kanica for their new show on Star Plus..
Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Mittal who were prominent writers in Rajshri Productions and then turned Producers with Star Plus' Sajan Ghar Jaana Hain are now getting ready for yet another show on Star Plus.
A little birdie tells us, "Shashi and Sumeet Mittal are once again coming back with a fresh show on Star Plus. The show will have a Rajasthani backdrop. Though the title of the show has not yet been finalized, the story line will again be about a middle class family with a unique storyline drama. The casting process is on and the channel has approached few well known faces to essay the lead role in the show."
A buzz is that Kapil Nirmal, who was last seen in Star Plus' Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat as Yudhisther and Kanika Maheshwari aka Sasha of Star One's Geet Hui Sabse Parayi have been approached by the channel. Though the channel and production house are tight-lipped about the show, we hear that Kanika is the only lady who has been finalized as of now, and talks are on for the leads.
We contacted Kapil Nirmal to know about the buzz, but he refused to comment on it.
Kanika Maheshwari too refused to divulge any detail about the show.
Our efforts to get in touch with Producer Sumeet Mittal were futile.
