After dominating the infotainment genre on television for the longest time, Discovery Networks going to launch a new General Entertainment Channel(GEC) Discovery JEET from 12th Frebruary 2018. Discovery JEET will be available in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu languages.

Discovery Communications India (DCIN) has signed Netflix as the exclusive global OTT platform partner for the content of Discovery JEET. The deal will ensure that Discovery JEET’s marquee content will be available to audiences in more than 190 countries world-wide.
On 12th February Discovery JEET going to start an brand new show "Gabru". It is a TV series about the evolution of Hip Hop in India. The show is produced under the banner of Still and Still Media Collective, helmed by Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari. The story will revolve around the lives of three distinct protagonists - Gaurav Singh aka MC Money, Bani Khurana aka Queen B and Sarfaraz Khan aka ‘Surf’. The story deals with the trials and tribulations of a Punjabi Hip Hop King, who at the peak of his career faces a threat from a rival rapper, who also happens to be his ex-flame.
