Default Best of 2018 - TOP 10 Best Film Poster of the year 2018

#BLBestOf3: Race 3, Pari, October – which film poster stunned you the most in the first quarter of 2018? Vote now!

We could hardly contain our excitement when the posters came out, offering us a glimpse into all that the film holds in store

The first quarter of 2018 has helped us forget the bitter aftertaste of the year that was 2017. And we were already aware of the good things to come thanks to the amazing posters of the film that made us impatient for the film’s release. We could hardly contain our excitement when the posters came out, offering us a glimpse into all that the film holds in store. However, with many such amazing posters, we were left guessing as to which one was the best of them all. So, we have listed them down here for you. Take a look and tell us as to which one blew you over…

Race 3

Let’s see…When you have a dapper looking Salman Khan, holding a gun, posing ever so stylishly, what else do you need? The answer is that you need nothing, which is why the makers of Race 3, decided to keep it simple with the first poster of the film and yet, it went for the **** right away. The poster was an immediate hit and speculations about Salman’s character in the film were rife immediately after. That is the thing a poster should do – create curiosity.

Padmaavat

While Deepika Padukone’s first poster of Padmaavat was stunning and alluring, it was Ranveer Singh’s poster for the film that really had us excited. Allaudin Khilji wasn’t an easy part to play and an even more difficult look to create. So, needless to say, when we first saw Ranveer as the seemingly ruthless conqueror, we could only stare in awe, making this poster one of the best ones we have seen so far. If we could, we would have booked tickets to the film right after seeing this poster of the film.

Pari

Spine-chilling is the first word that came to our minds upon seeing this dark poster of Anushka Sharma-starrer Pari. The actress has made some really unusual choices in her career but Pari can easily top the list. And it was with this poster that we first found out as to what Anushka’s character would look like in the film. The look in Anushka’s eyes in the poster is enough to intrigue us into finding more about what’s scaring her.

Pad Man

There was no suspense to be created in Pad Man. But shock? Certainly! So, with this poster of Akshay Kumar looking delirious over a handful of cotton, was indeed surprising to say the least. With menstrual hygiene still being a hush hush thing, a man holding the raw material for a sanitary pad in his hand surely made people sit up and take notice of such a film being made. It also started a much-needed debate on the issue, in the country.

October

We are blown away by October. Even from the trailer it was hard to gauge as to what the film will be all about. So, staying true to its genre, even the poster isn’t revealing much. With Varun Dhawan staring at Banita Sandhu on the poster, all we are getting is that it is a film that narrates their story which we can’t wait to find more about. Purpose for the poster achieved, we guess.
